@@wolvensoul9147 right. i wouldn't trade my family life for anything at this point. i have a wonderful fiancee and daughter. as much as i miss being a kid, i could never go back and re-do things. i live vicariously through my daughter and she brings the kid out in me.

I surely miss those days, when you had the different levels of pressures of life. It definitely hits different. I didn't have a great childhood, but I can definitely understand wanting to go back to when you didn't UNDERSTAND everything.

One verse in. I CAN'T TELL YOU HOW F***IN MUCH I RELATE TO THIS (sorry for all caps but that's literally me right now). All of this $#!T is like, 100% true to what my life was and what it has become now. And I ain't even a full-blown adult (I'll be there in 3-4 months though).
This is as relatable to me as your Shy Guy song is to the most introverted of introverts.
Now, I'm done with the whole track. I'm still in a state of perpetual shock from everything you said. It's like a permanent stank face. Not cuz it's the hardest of the hardest of punchlines that I heard but because of just all of it being as relatable as it was. I'm going through such a massive wave of flashbacks cuz of all those lyrics.
You had me in this one, man. I just wish you could look at me right now and just see through all these racing thoughts in my mind. I can imagine that this song and its lyrics are even more relatable to so many of my friends.
Now I know it's better not to dwell on the past as fondly but just reminiscing all of that fun is something else. This was such an experience through and through and I can't thank you enough for pulling through with your flu and releasing this on the night before my exams start tomorrow. It helped me escape the in-built pressure of a 3 hour test tomorrow and I think I'm about to listen to it another 2 times, right after I'm done finishing typing this.
Musically too, this was one HELL of a vibe.
