I’m currently building a n55 from a m2 that’s going into my f31 wagon. :) all forge internals and the engine has been rebuilt and cleaned up. Gonna be pushing 700HP with the setup I’m gonna be going for.
Wow I remember when you first started modding, it looks insane now. My 335i still stock m performance, just had to change the front brakes, next time i need to do myself.
The b58 coils will work on the n55 they are far better than what came stock for the n55. Also snow performance stealth water meth kits is great help lower those intake temps and reduce knock.
Sounds and looks nuts. I love this build but was really hoping you guys would do forged rods and pistons, and a built trans for this build since it has that juicy top mount. No shade just want the next owner to have a good longterm ownership experience.
Depends on which N55. The ones found in the M2 and M235i have better internals and can take a beating. That said, my F30 N55 has been handling the power just fine.

I've been daily driving my F30 N55 with a 500WHP map and occasionally switching to a 650WHP map without any issues. The engine has been rock solid with zero problems for over 4 years now

@@SpecializedDuck Power has nothing to do with it my friend. The E series N55 was known for eating rod bearings and it should be a standard service at some point for all of them.
Wow, pretty much an identical torque curve until about 3.5k! Can't beat that compared to the stock turbo. I assume you're running some ethanol to get above the ~500whp mark? Full E85 or a blend?
do you have et3 designs stage 4 EKP module or ARC terminator? with the dorch stage 3 pump you have if you do not have it, that is what is causing your dip on the dyno graph

@@iwnt_carprtz Yeap, but only for later model E N55 cars (Normally 2013 models). Earlier models have the same HPFP as the N54, so the upgrade wouldn't work.

Shoup just did one for drivenwerks making 650 on stock engine lol. Just do the rod bearings and change the oil often.
