You guys don't have to do a full campaign, you can do one shots to help fit around other KF stuff. I would recommend reaching out to Brennan Lee Mulligan and/or Matthew Mercer for some advice.
They are already really good friends with Anthony Carboni and Saige Ryan of pixel circus, they've been on in review multiple times as well as kinda funny podcasts and Even some gaming content for Carboni. They've got some really popular dnd campaigns going on over there they should definitely reach out to them. And if they really wanted to, they would definitely have the connects to the BLMs and mercers of the world, as they've had a lot of dimension 20 and critical role cast on their campaigns.
@@nateg452They are also friends with some of the Critical Roll crew, and even did a one shot with them many moons ago. If I recall correctly, that one shot was one of (if not the first) online appearance of Jester, Laura’s character in the second campaign.
Listening to Andy talk about that Jon Bernthal clip and explain how cool D&D is just reminds me how much I love him. Really hope we get to see more TTRPGs being played by the KF crew!
Would love to see KF team up with Critical Role again but also if they didn’t want to do a full campaign because of their scheduling a one-shot is easier to plan be it a game of DND or any other TTRPG the gang would like. They could easily re-flavour DND from a fantasy setting to any other like how they did Fast And The Furious or play any one of these TTRPGs instead: - Transformers RPG (Renegade Game Studios) - Alien RPG (Free League Publishing) - Star Wars RPG (Fantasy Flight Games) - Marvel Multiverse RPG (Marvel Comics) - Avatar Legends (Magpie Games) - TMNT & Other Strangeness (Palladium Books) There are so many licensed TTRPGs that Kinda Funny would love and I’d be so down to watch them all play a game of any one of these :)
If the guys wanted to play D&D there are tonnes of prewritten modules they could run. From shorter stuff (Stormwreck Isle) to massive years long campaigns (Curse of Strahd)
If you guys like the idea of a short, horror themed game I highly recommend DREAD. You use a simple jenga tower for skill checks and a character dies or has something horrible when the tower finally falls. It naturally builds tension in such a fun way! Super customizable for whatever setting you want and and incredibly accessible for the players
When I was a kid, we only had one TV in the house and, being the youngest, I could only ever play the PS2 by myself when everyone else was asleep. My brothers and cousins would stay up late, but I would wake up at 5am every morning to sneak into the living room, mute the TV, turn on the subtitles and play Final Fantasy. It's literally how I learned how to read. 25 years later, I've been catching my daughter doing the exact same thing. A few days ago, her kindergarten teacher let me know that while she's been yawning a lot in class but she is already reading at a 3rd grade level 😅
I’m a California based creator and DM, I would absolutely run a weekly game for KF if they wanted. I paint custom minis and terrain, high on production quality. Free of charge. I run 5e but the theme could be whatever.
Could be neat to use a VTT RPG maker game and have everyone stream from the stream lab with cams while letting viewers see the dnd campaign map/goings on.
I know some newer fans don't know this, but KF did a one-shot with Critical Role a few years ago. Greg's monologue near the end is still one of my all-time favorite KF moments
I’d say there are a lot of different TTRPG systems to go to and you don‘t necessarily have to do D&D per se as a system. Even though I‘m also relatively new to the realm, there are a lot of different systems and rule sets to go to. D&D is good for High-fantasy type scenario and you can extend it to other realms if necessary. My current campaign is basically a Harry Potter Hogwarts campaign that is based on a fanbased rule extension called „Wands and Wizards“. At some point I was imagining doing a Horizon: Zero Dawn-based extension, but this would involve introducing new game mechanics and new monster types. But then, so many other story types are out there: If you want a Cyberpunk world, go to Cyberpunk Red, if you want sci-fi horror go to Aliens RPG or Mothership, If you want Star Trek stuff, go to Star Trek Adventures, If you want short horror-based mini campaigns, go to Cancela Obscura. Even since the OGL stuff that happened last year, SO MANY independent systems are starting to pop up now that there is a large zoo of systems available that anyone can use. It really depends on what kind of fun you‘d like to have with your friends. I feel like D&D itself becomes more like gateway to other RPGs that are out there, even as their internal worlds that they are using are relatively generic.
Just to make it easier for Bless, depending on genetics you can get a six pack as high as 14% body fat! But usually around 10 to 12% is where everyone gets theirs. Good luck Bless!
Guys another D&D thing would be so awesome! Maybe you could call in a guest DM and film like a few episodes and release them over time. A Brennen Lee Mulligan x Xinda Funny crossover would melt my brain.
I had a six pack when I was 20 or so and just did sit ups, crunches, bicep curls, and push ups. Ate normally. Fast food, home made dinners, candy, soda, etc. Then I had appendicitis and lost it completely.
It's not D&D but since Nick talked about doing and Alien one, the 'Alien Fate of the Nostromo' is quite good. Not complicated to learn and can be played by 1-5 players. Not competitive, it's all players vs the alien.
They should reach out to the KF community because all of those IPs have existing RPG systems or can be easily mapped. There has to be some amazing DMs out in the KF family
I’ve actually been on a bit of a break for KF content, usually just catching up on weekly stuff because I’ve been recently binging through the first two campaigns of Critical Role. It got me thinking how I wished KF would play again but with a more traditional D&D setting similar to when they had the collab with CR in the spare bedroom days. (The F&F stream was fun but didn’t really scratch that itch for me)
Always thought Saw would be a good D&D campaign for a longer stream as you could kill off anyone that wasn’t totally into it quickly. Also it would mean Nick would have to dress up as the weird doll and ride in on a tricycle to DM.
Literally every "oh this but D&D" thing exists. You just need to do a little searching, you can find a system for it, you dont need to push it into D&D
Believe it or not there is a star wars d&d and it's pretty sick. And jedi are apart of it! The system balances all different types of classes to be fair.
First of all, Loudermilk is SUCH A GOOD SHOW. Second, I was a big fan of Blessing until he said some dumb shit like "I don't like that Fantasy stuff, it's all the same with the goblins and the elves and whatnot" 😂 My brother in Christ, you truly don't even know the half of it. There are sooooo many different kinds of incredibly unique fantasy worlds my guy.
Honestly a D&D series would be pretty cool Instead of a full marathon stream, have it be broken up across 6 weeks. Gives time for the team to edit highlights from the previous episode, similar to the MGS series and all that.
Would love to see you guys play DnD again! 😀 You might want to check out some of the Free League licensed games if you don't want to homebrew again. The rules are much more streamlined than DnD and they do a good job adapting the IPs (Alien is especially good from what I hear)
There are several excellent Star Wars video games with Jedi and other character types being equally powerful. I also played Star Wars D&D and played a Gungan trooper, we had a couple Jedi in our party among other things. Jedi do not have to dominate, and the different types of Jedi have existed for a long time, councilors, guardians, etc.
I still go back and listen to you previous one with critical role. Need to hear what Nick the mage is up too. I mean we know he’s not up too much because he is just so tiny.
Gah, TrueBlood is a wild touchtone. That show was when shows with sex on HBO meant good show. Also, I was the same as Andy as a kid. I sleep terribly as is, but in a new setting I just didn't sleep. I cannot do it the first night, ever. Hotel, air bnb, etc. Still the same.
Just starting this episode. If the thumbnail is indicative of the convo, please don't use D&D for a Star Wars RPG. There's its own system made by Fantasy Flight one of the main books is called like Edge of the Empire. I've heard way better things for SW RPG experience specifically.
It's like 75% diet, and 25% muscle building. While working out your abs will make them bigger, diet is by far the more important step. But they both need to be done.
NEVER CLICKED ON THE PLAY BUTTON SO FAST!!!
DO ANOTHER CAMPAIGN!!!
You should play more dnd. I know it's some work to set up but I think it would be a great mechanism for y'all to practice and improve in improv

definitely need more!!! was just thinking about that a few days ago
Please do another DND, I was literally thinking the other day about how fun it would be to see a scream or that kind of horror DND done
Theh could even outsource the DM role to someone and they could all play and not have to worry about putting too much work on one person.
They should definitely look into this, if Saige isn't busy.... 😅
She probably is honestly though, maybe Carboni would be willing to dm?
I would love a Dimension 20 and Kinda funny dnd session

The Mall D&D one shot I believe was Let's Roll from Achievement Hunter
39:17 - Season 6 of Game of Thrones is arguably the single greatest season of television ever made. On this hill, I shall plant my flag
If the guys wanted to play D&D there are tonnes of prewritten modules they could run. From shorter stuff (Stormwreck Isle) to massive years long campaigns (Curse of Strahd)
As a black women and starting up this podcast, talking about D’Angelo the how does it feel video was not on my bingo card.
yes yes please
I'd love to watch a DnD adventure if everyone is committed to the idea. The energy would be off the charts.

Nick's Blade Runner/Alien rpg idea is so cool, I want to play it!
Fun fact-D’Angelo did the song unshaken for red dead 2.
Bless had a good suggestion. Yall could do gameshowdown and dnd on and off. One season of GSD then one season of DnD.
This new Blessing lore is WILD lol
Could be neat to use a VTT RPG maker game and have everyone stream from the stream lab with cams while letting viewers see the dnd campaign map/goings on.

Holy crap, I totally did not know this. This had to have been before critical role absolutely exploded right?
@nateg452 Literally right before Campaign 2. It's actually Jester's unofficial debut
@@MelodicQuest My two worlds collide, absolutely awesome I need to watch it.

Conan was appointment viewing for me too Andy. Best of late night TV
You guys should reach out to Critical Role or D20 about this.
Industry rocks. I haven't jumped into S3 yet.
Guys another D&D thing would be so awesome! Maybe you could call in a guest DM and film like a few episodes and release them over time. A Brennen Lee Mulligan x Xinda Funny crossover would melt my brain.
Wow we can see so much more of the floor with how low they had to angle the cameras for this one
Awesome! Back to a Tuesday release... last few weeks you guys been messing up my listening routine 😂
I had a six pack when I was 20 or so and just did sit ups, crunches, bicep curls, and push ups. Ate normally. Fast food, home made dinners, candy, soda, etc. Then I had appendicitis and lost it completely.

Roger's pronunciation of cialis 😂
Bro let me DM for yall! I'm really good at it imo, and I just want to make sure everyone is having fun.

Check out Edge of Empire. It’s a Star Wars TTRPG.
Would love to do a one piece d&d campaign
Don't worry, Andy. Sundays will now be all football, for 7 months.
Well if they wanted to do an alien game…. There is a Alien rpg system now
Or Mothership
Stay hard, Roger

By no means do you need to be below 10% to have a 6-pack. At 15% you can have a decent 6-pack.
Drucker needs to DM this time!

where can I get bless' shirt?

I hate the phrase “abs are made in the kitchen” - sure, you can lose body fat (Nick, for most you’ll see a decent six pack

Nick just says shit for no reason..... he's not motivated to get a six pack so immediately he implies its an age thing and not a him thing.😂
True Blood is 10x better if you fast forward every scene that only has Sookie and Bill.
so critical role x KF when?
Already happened a few years ago
@@MelodicQuest I know but if Tim or Andy guest spots there next one shot that be awesome

God, seeing blessing on this show is an immediate turn off, what a disappointment
