    My favorite Ninja. Most all of his strikes are to vital points. Nerve plexuses ,major arteries Or to disable sight Breathing or mobility. A true master of many arts. Happy belated Birthday as well to Master Hatsumi . One love

    The textbook techniques he has in his arsenal, are the real deal. They are found in other Jujutsu and Chinese systems. Problems are that they are not taught realistically, are not pressure tested and are not modified by many Bujinkan practitioners to be applicable in a real scenario in most cases. Can they be modified to work..absolutely! Unfortunately most choose to larp, Collect megadan ranks and pretend they are warriors.

      I agree. I have trained in Bujinkan and i have modified the techniques for modern style fighting and we are doing full contact and it works. Adapt it and it is a good system.

      Yes, these techniques do work. Yes, they are realistic. Yes we do pressure test them but not in this video. This video is about understanding how the basic historical kata works.
      Also not everyone learns martial arts because they want to go in the rig or for self defence. Many people learn it because it is fun for them or they love the history of it or just because the found it to be a fun sport. There are a thousand reasons to learn, some are even spiritual. Don't try and force a mold on every person.

      People fail to move past the basic

    • @davefletch3063
      @davefletch3063 2 года назад

      And it isn’t the technique that needs pressure testing, it is the individual that does. All these techniques as well of those in other arts were tested on real battlefields, in real life or death fights. Those that didn’t work never made from the battle to be passed on. The difference is today’s practitioner is overall less hardy. They train weaker and have less fighting spirit. And the. There is the legal repercussions that didn’t exist when these arts were developed. You can’t use a lot of these things in a sporting/ sparring context or people would get hurt. You can simulate it, but a fake eye poke doesn’t make a person move the same as a real one. MMA sporting rules prohibit the vast majority of techniques taught, so that athletes can compete in relative safety and can enjoy a longer career.

    No wonder with these kind of comments that some of these videos become unavailable for comments. People either say something silly or throw shit at the videos. Poor behavior. Almost like when I once went to the cinema to watch the movie "Logan" where the main-character is dying at the end of the movie and the audience surprisingly laughs at the negro-boy because he has a wolverine-actionfigure in his belt. Where were people´s compassion at that moment? They didn´t even seem to care at all, that the main-character was dying allthough they went to the cinema to watch it. Now one could ask where are people´s seriousity, wonder and objectivity in this matter? Hatsumi´s ninjutsu isn´t bad so it must either be envy or ignorance that´s the reason for their behavior. No wonder ninjas become occassionally introverted when facing the mob they´re supposed to protect and change into more humanistic beings.

    Probably the theme is the same when people picks on Jesus and the Bible without even having read it. Where does this hostility towards strangers or different people come from?

    • @victorcastelazo4388
      @victorcastelazo4388 4 года назад

      There is no hostility, it is called a seminar on martial arts, where people go and learn. They don't go and fight with everyone they see on the street, there are principles, philosophy, and much more around it. It's not hostility, is the curiosity of learning something so ancient that marked the history of a country. There is a lot of interesting knowledge around it, I totally recommend it!

      @renehenriksen1735 2 года назад

      @@davefletch3063 That doesn´t surprise me. These bullies want to believe what they want to believe. And they have often judged Bujinkan as useless, without even having trained it, studied it or just tried to understand it. It´s not good with all this prejudice. Training is a lot better than thinking as a wise man once said.

    • @davefletch3063
      @davefletch3063 2 года назад

      Not at the beginning of a fight maybe, but most real fights end up from an out of control anger or rage and strikes from those people are rarely controlled. So lunging attacks and wide, ugly haymaker punches are very common. In professional fights, watch how their punches lose discipline as they get hurt and tired. They become wide, sloppy and yes lunging punches and strikes. These kata don’t necessarily begin at the beginning of a fight

      The student who is assisting with the lesson would punch like that and so would I. That is how a ninja would strike.
      I am so grateful to have had the privilege and the opportunity to learn a little of this system.
      I have real life experience to know that this is the real deal.
