A very different way of handling a spook than I am accustomed to seeing, but the long-term benefit becomes obvious. I appreciate your empathy and thinking of the big picture rather than just pushing through for a high score with no regard for the horse. Your videos are educational and entertaining. ;)

The horse will not remember "this consideration and confidence building," and you seem to have a lot of "incidents." Ever think it could be because all you people treat horses as something besides horses. The things you say .. "the physical feeling he has in his body" ... these horses are being trained by you to explode ... what else can one expect ... awful what you do to horses ...
So nice to see a man not force the horse when he could have. The horse will remember this consideration and confidence building.

What would you do with a horse that is fine with flags and balls ect.. one day then spooks the next at the same items?
