Legend! I am Japanese and worked with him in his park for about a month when I was in Australia 2008. I was 20 at the time and visited almost all shops or restaurants in Bloom looking for a part-time job, but was refused. When I visited the crocodile park and asked if there was any work available, and I was given a job cleaning the park leaves. He recognized my work and then gave me work on an ongoing basis. I have wonderful memories of going to many places in his Toyota car. Peace.
Malcolm made my childhood and still to. today I can watch his shows over and over again. His early stuff when he is very young show cased indigenous cultures better than any other person. Its a national treasure
South African , and i've watched every single Malcolm Douglas scene there is. We are spoilt for adventurers (particularly historic) here in Africa, and the stories of each, but Malcolm Douglas is a bloody legend in anyone's book, and everyone can learn a thing or two about simplicity and raw living, from that man.
This was such an incredible experience for me. Malcolm was my hero and to be able to spend time and absorb as much as possible about him from his own family was something I never thought I would get to experience. Thank you so much to the Douglas family for the opportunity
Malcolm is one of my heroes. He inspired us to head off around Australia. We missed out on meeting him because he had the flu but we met his wife and Boondi when we passed through Broome.
Thank you for doing this, what a Bucket list experience Harry. very envious. Malcolm's documenteries I watched them all and recently started watching them again, just brilliant and simple.
Thank you so much for this Harry! Malcolm has always been an absolute hero of mine, a truly great Australian. I absolutely idolised him. I never met him but loved his documentary’s & I was devastated when I heard he had passed away! He would be so proud of his son & grandson! Sadly they don’t make them like Malcolm anymore
I remember coming into broom I think it was 1984 , spotted Malcom Douglas croc farm thought it a good idea to go in for a look , we were the only ones there , Malcom met us at the gate and took us for a personal tour , he had a fish on the end of this bit of pvc pipe ,he said the only problem was the pipe kept getting shorter as this croc lunges out grabs it (fxxxing thing he said ) what a legend top bloke , so happy to have met him .
I met Malcolm on several occasions. He graciously opened a presentation on snakes my business partner and I gave to kids at risk hosted by Cable Beach Resort.
My father was driving the tractor in one of his videos when he visited Jim Jim area, now called Cooinda. And he was reflecting how the locals got around in the wet season. Good to see his family continuing his legacy...
Haha didn't think I'd ever see new video involving Malcolm Douglas I'm in regular contact with his brother stew Douglas fun fack stew owned alot of the heavy machinery in the mines
What happened to legendary Australian Bushman Malcolm Douglas just goes to show that one can never be too careful when out in the Australian bush by yourself. Take care all.
Mate poor Malcolm when around to the front of his big Toyota Troop carrier when the vehicle rolled forward and pinned him up against a tree. That’s how he passed away. He forgot to pull up the hand brake put it in gear.
It’s sure is. What a way to die hey? If you watch Malcolm Douglas’s Videos you will see that at times he was a bit careless and made some simple and silly mistakes. I guess that the more time we spend our in the Australian bush we all can become a bit careless at times. Be careful all and take care when you’re out in the wilderness by yourself.

Ran into Malcolm at Murwangi Station , East Arnhemland, about 15 years ago. Enjoyed a cuppa with him . Australia lost an icon..
Bloody old Aussie legend - a old cobber of mine worked for Malcolm in the 80’s and always spoke highly of he and his wife!

Brilliant video Harry, Malcolm was one of my inspirations for adventure, great to see your tribute.
Fantastic tribute to a great man.
Good stuff, respect from Cymru
Malcolm Douglas Videos can be found on RUclips. I’ve watched them all 3 times over the past year or so.
Where can I buy a DVD box set of Malcolm's videos? I would pay so much for it I'm sick of watching poor quality RUclips re-uploads

Malcolm was a legend... shame to hear what happened with him. I preferred watching him over Steve Irwin any old day...
When's part two coming up ?
This is so cool where can I find more episodes?
Skinny like their dad & grandfather . He was a great Australian on so many levels. Good luck to the young blokes.
