    Omg that Gnocci dinner.😍 I recommend to "seal" the gnocci after cooking by putting them in a pan with a bit of oil. So good👌

      Just a heads up for any sauce lovers, this will ruin your sauce to gnocchi ratio bc the oil makes your sauce sort of fall right off! :/

      @@jaquicx9500 If you dry them on a paper towel afterwards and then add them to the sauce, it will not happen most of the time. :)

    gnocchi works really well without oil too and if you just roll it into a sausage, cut it into bits and then roll a fork over it you save lots of time with the same effect!

    If you can, try not to put HOT stuff in the fridge/ freezer. It's super energy inefficient and can not only damage other produce in there, melts the freezer. This forces it to work harder too freeze and thus uses up more energy and so a greater carbon foot print. Know its not the biggest deal, just a small change if you can!

    So for anyone wondering, I believe Earth Island is just the Canadian name for the brand Follow Your Heart. I could be mistaken but I'm pretty sure its the same company

    You should steam your milk first then pull the shot. Shots "die" after about 30 seconds of being pulled and standing alone so to get optimal flavor from your espresso you need to mix it into the milk asap.

      this is a myth perpetuated by starbucks to make u work faster lol. the half life of caffeine is not ten seconds, you honestly have about five minutes before the flavor changes in the shot.

      It's really not a myth. Of course the caffeine doesn't die, but the taste changes really quickly. Just give it a try and let your espresso shots sit for different amounts of time and see how the taste changes.

    Your latte art looks like an apple! Instead of saying you failed at a heart, say you mastered the apple.
    The ridges on the gnocchi from the fork also make a little place for the sauce!

    Hi Liv! Just wondering if the recipe on the blog is correct. It says 4 large potatoes (approx 1lbs). I have a single potato here that already weights 1lbs. Are you sure the weight is correct? Thanks!

      Traditionally, are you supposed to bake the potato? I was wondering what the difference was between baking them to mash them vs. just boiling them, which is much faster
