V singing LIVE is everything! His voice is soothing, relaxing my soul! Vocal King!
This was a magnificent performance and loved the jazz lounge feel of it. Tae's voice is so velvety smooth and rich, it really shines in songs like this. Tae always sounds even more phenomenal live vs on the studio versions when for most others it's the opposite. I am so very happy Tae is letting his R&B/Jazz/Soul side show. He also said he is working on songs that are different from LayoVer and I can't wait to hear them. Tae is a phenomenal singer, dancer, artist, performer, etc and I am so happy he is getting the opportunity to really spread his creative wings. His voice and performance captured me from day 1 and he keeps taking it to the next level. Also I love Tae with a live band both on this and on IU's Palette, a terrific band really showcases Tae's vocals and gives an intimate lounge/Jazz club feel. I can't wait for the day Tae does a tour with his solo songs. Bravo Tae!
V is born for live performances 🔥!!! My heart was so JOYFUL during Love Me Again and Slow Dancing. Then For Us hit me HARD and I sobbed. HOW DOES HE DO THAT??!!??! His VOICE like damnnnn....... And the band is beyond phenomenal - this is how you know V genuinely loves music - other artists shine as well performing with him.

Tae posted pics and videos with the band, where u could see them having dinner together, it really warms my heart to see him treating his musicians with a celebration after the performance.
Believe it or not by my own experience that doesn't happen very often. Some artist act too "superior" to do something like sharing a meal or giving gifts to their musicians.
But we're talking about Tae here...a real down to earth person☺️💜

I am so incredibly proud of Tae. I think some people may have underestimated his musical abilities but he is a true artist, true performer of the highest quality. He’s got great taste for music. And this is only the beginning. As he gets to experiment more and dictate his sound, he’ll only get better. This performance got me a little emotional. I know he’s had this vision and desire to do this kind of music for a long time. And it’s so nice to see him so happy. Shout out to the band too, incredible arrangements. Taes voice tho! Even when he talks, he does something to me lol
Yeah. I hope people will appreciate his hard works despite not being pop songs. I am tired of some kpop fans who can't see his passion for music. Now it's time for them to accept that taehyung is one of the best and unique vocalists in kpop. Also a real performer.

The talent in that studio is overwhelming, and V's voice travels through your veins like warm honey. How does this man keep improving on perfection? This is why Kim Taehyung has been my bias eversince i Laid my eyes on BTS. He's an idol but the way he performs and taste in music are like from a true Artist and legend,a professional musician. After his layover Album,i don't see him as an idol anymore,he is a musician period. If you are a huge kpop fan, you will know that the trends in kpop are always upbeat,crazy mixture of beats,autotune and heavy dance performances.This is what his Album,differs from kpop. Mind you,this is his debut Album but he choose to do what he love,not following trends but follow for what makes him happy and being true to himself. As an Artist musician,I am so proud of him. He is indeed the most unique,versatile and king of Jazz. His hardwork are paying off for his Album record breaking after records and doing very well on chart. Mad respect to the band that gives justice to the songs beauty. Just hearing their instruments makes me so happy and proud.Good job everyone. You know,V bias reactors are my favorite,they have a good taste.BTS members have always been so good,their solo album represents themselves very much. V doesn't need filters. Every time he sings it's raw, raw, emotional and moving! Listen to his sound tracks, then listen to him love, he's always better love, uncensored, unfiltered, mic on, no lip sinking and totally mesmerizing!💜🫶

funny how you said, "he's got a good memory, unless these are all his friends", taehyung has this habit or purely instinctively he makes a friend out of everyone he meets, from his dance team, to this band, to the crew he oh so lovingly calls "tae crew" now, everyone is so in love with this man and the love is reciprocated from his side all so beautifully. he's so genuinely human that it makes loving him so much easier. also, this album has sent mono by rm to second place in my rankings of favourite albums by k-soloists ever. i love how musically inclined he truly is. you can tell he enjoys this and is in his most honest and raw element when he performs.

By the way, the instrument Jacob played and that you were asking about, is actually a saxophone, it's a soprano saxophone, the other one is a tenor saxophone.
Right from the first moments of first exploring BTS, I was struck by how incredibly comfortable V was being on stage. That presence, that quality, was so clear. And now he has all the polish of 10+ years, so he’s perfection.
I think just his speaking voice alone could calm a stormy sea.
He is as smooth & beautiful as a large & expertly finished sapphire.

This was definitely perfection! The whole band was excellent! Tae was feeling it and in his element! Jacob was playing the sax and I think a tenor or alto sax that looks like a clarinet.
My bad it was a soprano sax. V plays the sax and trumpet and I'm sure he really wanted that instrument present.

You hit the main impressions that I had with this Tiny Desk performance. V's style is perfectly suited for this venue. I hope that his tour is in small settings in support of this album. As far as I can tell.... there are plans for a tour but nothing for sure.

V's voice is just like that pleasent breeze of summer which always gives you chills whenever it touches your body. V is versatile, he knows music very well . As a jazz lover and a saxophonist it's so obvious that he recommended Jacob for this tiny desk . This tiny desk is something else so peaceful and perfect.

Got to agree with you guys on the Sax version of Slow dancing. I think Jacob also played the Clarinet. Tiny desk was definitely made for Tae as is this genre of music. I love that he didn't go the usual route and went with what he loves for his album, he just vibes with it and his voice is incredible.

The instruments Jacob plays are the tenor and soprano sax. The one you didn't recognize was the soprano saxophone.

"Oh happy day" indeed! Soulful...I want to hear more...Ms. Iris Stevenson called it first upon hearing Tae. She must be so proud of him exploring this genre for his solo album. We all are! Taehyung clearly is within his element and it was brave of him to push through with this project. Kudos to the musical arrangers, the band and Kim Taehyung for a session really worth watching a thousand times over!

V's album has such a soft and almost sensual vibe. His voice is rich and perfect for this genre and he is am amazing artist with a serious presence. Jacob is a heck of a saxophonist for sure. The larger sax is a tenor sax and his smaller, straight sax is a soprano saxophone. (I played alto sax). V killed it during Tiny Desk and I love his respect for his band and backup singers. He is so humble and real. I do believe that some of the band members often work with them. Thank you for all of your amazing reactions.
Give Layover V's solo album lots of love, stream and request for the simple fact that's its good something we need in our music scene .
V also plays the saxophone. I am so proud of V. I can't contain the tears when I realize I am watching someone's dreams and hard work come to fruition. Taehyung is a man moving onto bigger and better things. V has experience with being a host, spokesperson, ambassador and even is the ambassador for Seoul's Tourist Board. He has been gaining skill and experience these last 10 years. I can't wait to see what comes next. and this is NOT the last we've seen or heard from Jacob either. My God! BTS is going to be ready for the world in 2025.

I can understand. In fact, Jazz is classy music, but it often sounds complicated for easy listening music lovers who are not used to this genre and that makes Jazz a rare music nowadays because only a few music lovers can understand its beauty. In painting, we can compare the colors of Jazz music to the abstract cubism paintings of the great artist Pablo Picasso, whose beauty is difficult for the general public to understand. I'm happy that a singer with good taste in music like Taehyung dares to go against the grain by reviving the quality music like Jazz and introducing it to a wider community. His action has made our music world more colorful and less boring, and expands the listeners' musical knowledge

As we know by now- no member releases their music just like that . There is a lot of preparation, promotions, performances that were planned ahead …every single detail etc. Watching Tae in his element smiling happily while vibing with this incredible group of musicians is everything we hoped for and more - Jacob got to me also 🙏🏻🎶the whole chemistry was spot on . For anyone out there doubting members authenticity and super stardom - here is yet another proof of their dedication and talent and superiority. I try to catch up with as many contents as possible and I’m greatful for any additional information. If you haven’t seen it yet V was a guest at IU Pallette recently and that was a great way to see him yet in another light. Ps. JK is performing / headlining at Global Citizen festival in NYC this upcoming weekend - it will be streamed - what an honor to call ourselves ARMY and have these awesome incredible 7 showering us with their contents on a regular . Owoooo!!! Thanks for the reaction!!! I am OT7 but I love loving V, this guy is a genius and he really is. He didn't look for the most appealing segment of the industry for the solo album, after all he could DO ANYTHING. He had to release the album sandwiched between two of JK's bombs, but he was only true to ARMY and himself and created a work of art that was more recognized outside of Korea than inside. Congratulations to our TaeTae!!! Detail: 'Slow Dancing' has 4 versions for the instrumental... Flute... Piano... Sax and GUITAR which was presented on Palette, wonderful!!!
