Thanks for another useful video. Spent a couple of hours fiddling and pottering about and I'm really enjoying this aeroplane. Not sure why everyone is complaining about the sound...maybe I'm blessed with old man's hearing!
There's a few issues with sound that Aerosoft are working on like some of the looping that can be heard but it's all in progress and an update is due in future to address what they can. Great to hear you're enjoying it a lot!
I need to get back in MS Flight sim again. Last time I played it what when Flight Sim X came out. The graphics and the way it works looks so much better now. Not to mention the twin Otter is my Fav twin turbo prop.
Bought mine this evening primarily for the UK flying, but also for the Maldives island hopping (via the floats, obviously). Have also quite fancied a St Barts Challenge in this. Your videos are going to come in very handy, thank you. Any Airbus Stick & Throttle settings to recommend?
@@BritishAvgeek I’ve got all 4 models mate :) After finishing the European Tour (2 legs left) I’ll model and/or aircraft. PS finally worked out how to turn on TCAS :) Got message for ages on the screen, TCAS off. Also, need to practice holds and Go Arounds. One more thing, CRJ can’t automatically follow VOR DME ARC ? Something else to work on. Maybe bit of Twotter and Kodiak 100 soon
If you're going to turn Autopilot on you will need yaw damper on beforehand. Autofeather is there as a protection should the engine fail - it'll automatically feature the props to reduce drag on that propeller
@@BritishAvgeek Thanks very much for your time and getting back to me. I have a key bound to the top hat on my HOTAS 4, however when I go to the chase camera before take off the the trim indicates down by a large amount?

Depends on the procedures of the operator using it. A pilot I spoke to told me his operator turns them off earlier to save the bulbs. This is only a tutorial to get the majority up and down confidently - the smaller things can be picked up dependant on what each person wants from the add-on 🙂
@@BritishAvgeek no it´s not as I´m watching on pc xD when you pan in the cockpit and then you don´t move it even takes a second to get sharp, I´m doing filmmaking so I know what I´am talking about ;) try 18mbit on export or 24 upscaling it to 4k. @@BritishAvgeek The sounds recordings are good yes, but the way they are implemented for a Payware aircraft in 2022 in a new simulator is really garbage. Aerosoft needs to get it together.

Fantastic! Hope you're enjoying it... Recommendations wise I don't have the airbus stick so don't know.
Have to practice, group flight tonight. Don't feel comfortable at all. No wonder, I've been flying CRJ550 a lot, like 50 flight hours in 2 weeks !
Nice! The CRJ700 is the exact same airframe basically so be sure to enjoy that too :)

Very nice walkthroughs. When to use autofeather and yaw damp?

Bought mine this afternoon but how do we get access to the manual or reading material provided?
It's inside the installed folders 🙂 check out a summarised one-page checklist I've made on my website britishavgeek.com and hopefully that's of use 🙂
Thanks very much for the information and your time. Does the Twin Otter take time to trim after take off?
Not too much - if you have a keybind on a yoke you can hold it and easily trim it up or down

What controls or any aftermarket mods do you use to make yourself walk into the back of the aircraft so smoothly?
Just right mouse click to "free look" and then my keyboard arrows to move about with the "translate view" options
Hello another twotter tutorial
🙌 hope you enjoyed it. Great addon
To me it takes a lot of power to get it moving.
On any surface and any load? It taxis almost above idle for me
my twin otter is dragging to the left all the time when taxing on the ground, is that normal?
Check your Deadzones perhaps? Mine doesn't drag left all the time from what I've noticed
@@BritishAvgeek It only happens when taxing. I have to correct the trim to the right all the time. What difficult should i set on this plane? I usual has everything on hard.
@@tomslittlecorner the hard setting should be fine :) could it be something like brakes sticking?
