This is my favorite class during my return to Maplestory. So you wanna be a Cadena, so you like to be an emo character and chains and whips give you excitement. Well then.... you came to the right class ;)
I was really enjoying Cadena until I hit a wall for leveling at 140+. Need to find a better keyboard layout that allows for all the cooldowns, I'm too used to simpler classes that have 1 main mobbing skill and a few supplementary cooldowns. I'm looking at my mapped skills on the bottom right more than I am looking at the mobs I'm fighting, just trying to see what is ready next and best to use. Seems like a very rewarding class for the dedicated players, a bit too much for me. The optimal combos change for every map
Very late comment, but cheap shot stacks with itself depending on how many status effect, for example if you in squad with a kinesis and a kanna, thats plus 60 percent crit etc.
Which is harder to use/hurts your fingers more? Blaster or Cadena? I've been wanting to play Cadena but I'm afraid my fingers aren't good enough to play her as they were with Blaster :v
Blaster's harder in my opinion. It requires less buttons, but more timing and faster button presses. Cadena has a lot of skills to use, but you can use them in whatever order, and whenever you like as long as they're off cooldown. No extremely strict timing
@@KyoWantsCute not true if you want to maximize the finisher damage by using chain on part 1 then hit a summon weapon before the second hit.. you have to do this between every weapon summon
Well cadena is much more complicated than DB and you'll have more buttons to press. Though you'll be rewarded with some nice damage. The mobbing is good compared to DB. And you have a bind for bossing. As a DB you'll have shorter range, though you later on get some pretty ok ranged skills to mob with that have cooldowns. But you'll have really nice burst as well. The mobbing suffers a bit compared to cadena, but the bossing is easier. You get dark sight to avoid debris from boss fights, you have an illusion skill that will make the boss focus on attacking the illusion and not you, and you have shadow partner which will double the amount of lines you do. So for solo bossing, DB is much easier. In short: If you don't mind pressing a lot of keys and having short cooldowns on most of your skills. Go Cadena. If you don't mind not being a great mobber, but having a pretty relaxing style of play, go DB. Who levels faster? Cadena Who kills bosses faster? Depends on the boss, but with proper control, Cadena. DB wins if the boss is mobile though. Who has an easier time bossing? DB Who requires more work on their equips? DB, because they have two weapons you need to scroll and star force. Though that also means you get more star force early to train in star force areas.
She has a LOT of avoid. Most attacks miss her. Aside from that, having 60 arcane force in a 30 arcane force map causes enemies to only hit me for 1 damage.

I recently came back and play in reboot which I regret some days because I've just hit 2.5k legion ( ik it's not a lot but grinding out a merc, Evan, and aran and some other main characters isn't my cup of tea). A few people need to know where certain bonuses come from. For people who want a shorter video, I tell them to skip to the end for the mobbing and bossing.
Not stolen, but similar. I was told this by the time I was halfway through the series. Had no idea there was someone with a title like mine lol. My title came from listening to the opening to pokemon orange islands.

Cadena gets a final damage boost buff, her stacks will be final damage so she will be op,ty kr

so i started playing this class yesterday, have to say it's meh... and so many cooldowns.
