- New Gravel Bike Day! Niner RLT 9 RDO is my new gravel bike. I have waited such a long time to celebrate New Bike Day, but now the day is finally here. I'm now ready to take the path less pedaled.
The bike is equipped with Shimano's gravel specific GRX parts. A combination of GRX 800, GRX 600 and GRX 400.

Congratulations! My husband and I just got our RLT 9 RDOs, too, and are absolutely loving them! Thank you for putting your video together. Again, congratulations!
Thank you so much for your kind words. And congratulations to you too. 🙏
Loving the "Pedal dam it" Hahaha. Enjoy buddy.👍👍
Yep, that phrase acts as a good reminder when things get tough. Right there on the frame!
Month ago I purchased same bike but 1x11 Sram absolutely in love! Coming from Cervelo R3 which is pretty amazing ride most definitely Niner is the Best bike I ever ridden up to date! Enjoy my friend! Great video btw!
Thank you so much for your kind words. I am certain that this will be a great bike for me. Take care buddy!
Wow I like the stem cap!
Thanks! 🙂
@@Maydeus where do you buy that? 😊
@@samuraioodon it’s a bottle cap from a beer called Hofmühl Hell. Bottle caps fit perfectly on Niner’s stems.
@@Maydeus oh I thought it was a custom cap. I've seen these before but thought yours was interesting. Thank you
@@samuraioodon thanks for your kind words.
I am subscribed to you, Matthias, but I’ve not been seeing your videos. I’ve just reset and hit the bell again.
Great to hear that the bell is up and running again! 🙂 However, this new bike day video is the first post since July, so perhaps you haven’t missed anything.
Glad that you’re back, though! 🙂
Little bit late, but congratulations to this really good looking bike. 👍👍👍
Wish you lots of happy Kilometer on this bike
Safe rides.
Cheers
Volker
It’s an awesome bike. Absolutely no regrets whatsoever. I will have many many happy kilometers on it.
@@Maydeus 👍 Nice
Wow, amazing bike. Looks like engineering perfection to me.
Of course. It’s an American bike… 🙂
Well it's good to see the US/Sweden trade deficit is over. We imported 100s of thousands of Volvo trucks & you only took in maybe a few hundred Keeping Up With the Kardashians DVDs for like 5 years straight. So unfair.
@@july1000000 I’m glad I could contribute 🙂
Sweet bike. I love that you said, "Today is October 1, and to me, the biking season has just started!" So how was it over the first winter?
It has been wonderful. A joy to ride. I have been out in all kinds of weather except snow storm. Before I bought this bike I never rode in rain, but now that doesn’t stop me. It also works well on tarmac, which is good because then I can keep my road bike connected to the trainer for Zwift.
Congratulations I own the rlt9 steel . The best bike ever
Thank you! Yes. It has been truly amazing thus far.
👍
🙏
Nice Ride
Thanks!
Interesting video, Matthias, especially as I’m looking at the same tyres. I’m going 650B on the new build so limited on tyres to some extent. I may even fit the set to my Triban, so I can get the mudguard on with 38mm tyres. I’ve heard they’re not good in the wet, but does that include wet tarmac? I am also considering the DT Swiss wheels, but I feel the freehub may be too loud.
I haven’t ridden in the wet yet, so I don’t know how they perform (I’m a sunshine rider 😊). The freehub is a bit loud, just like you say. But not too loud.
Hi
Cool bicycle
Which size and how tall are you?
Hi. Thank you for the comment and thanks for watching. The bike is 56cm. I’m 178cm.
Now that I have used the bike for 10 months I must say that it’s still a very good bike.
@@Maydeus
I must thank you for the quick answer
Well suppose with your height you have a smaller stem for the longer reach ?
The top tube is massive 56,5 as I saw in the geometry
@@alexandroskalogiros7355 correct. My road bike is 54cm and is perfect. However, the next size down from 56cm on a Niner is 53 and that was a bit too small.
Det är så det ska vara
Tackar. 🙏
