- The two pilots, Eric Vazeille and Gerry Cooper shared the CAP 232 for the World Aerobatic Championships 2009, held in Silverstone. We put some mini cameras inside the aircraft and it seems we did well! Watch some other cockpit views from WAC here www.airsports.t...
It is the best CAP, and the paint scheme! Look forward to seeing many more great flights from you both. Great aerial photography!
Not only the best CAP but to me simply the best aerobatic plane.
CAP 232 My Favorite Aerobatic plane ever!! Does anyone fly a CAP anymore? I sure wish they did. I would do anything for the opportunity to fly a CAP!!
I fully agree, to me the CAP 232 is way over an Extra, Sukhoi or anything else. Just the best, no question.
Congrats again Eric, you were simply awesome !
Vive les voltigeurs francais expatriés au Royaume-Unis !
Oui et vive leur CAP 232 français, pour moi juste le meilleur avion de voltige! Salutations de la Suisse.
@zvent1 Many pilots still fly the Mudry Cap aircraft in high level competition. Some even fly them at the WAC. The major change in recent years was that the French national team moved to the Extra 330 series aircraft in 2009 and no longer flies the CAP. British team members were still flying Cap variants as was Debby Rihn-Harvey (USA) at that point.
The control authority of the CAP looks to be unmatched by any aircraft I have seen fly yet.
Not understanding french pilots switching from their fantastic CAP 😳😔
