I love Rainbow Rowell’s books as well! I read Attachments a few months ago and I absolutely loved it. I think there’s just something about the way Rainbow writes her characters that just makes me love her books so much. I hope you enjoy it!
gosh emma your reading tastes are so similar to mine, it's like every book you pick up I immediately want to add it to my tbr list 😍 you have the best recommendations 💕
My aunt just informed me that she bought me This Adventure Ends by Emma Mills as a belated birthday present! Can't wait for it to get here! So excited 🤓🤓 Oh, Every Heart a Doorway has been on my wishlist for a very long time, but I'm a bit afraid I won't like it. I'll wait for your opinion 😄
Wotakoi is one of my favorite shoujo of all time! Not too fluffy, sometimes terse in the storytelling but still gives great warm fuzzies with the characters' awkwardness and quirks. Funny as h, too ;) Hope you enjoy it as well.
I LOOOOOOOOVE Every Heart a Doorway! It's waaaaay darker than Narnia though, so keep that in mind! The plot is basically a murder mystery, and things can get a bit gruesome. But McGuire's writing is incredibly atmospheric, and the narration definitely have a very ~fairy tale~ vibe.
hiii lovely person 🌻... i really think you should try a manga ‘children of the whales’, i really think you would love it and also the anime on netflix is so beautiful, aesthetically pleasing and heartbreaking... let me know if you’ll give it a try... love you 💫❣️
I've heard great things about Giant Days and have been meaning to pick it up. I think I would like that and Lumberjanes. I still have to read The Upside of Unrequited! I loved Simon! Wotakoi sounds so cute! I haven't read any manga, but I'm intrigued by a lot!
I'm going to New York for the first time in a week and I can't wait to visit all the bookstores you mentioned in your videos! Especially Kinokuniya!! And the Lines Friend store is not far away so I'm gonna have a magical day exploring bookstores and getting a little Plushie (either Hoseoks or Namjoons) ^^ I can't wait, do you have any recommendations on what to visit while in NY?
I've never heard of Wotakoi, but it sounds so good I'm going to look it up right away! Giant Days is great, especially the first two volumes. It has this sort of relatable silliness to it that got a bit less charming in later volumes imo. I still enjoy it, but I switched to the collected hardcovers for now. I'm interested in your opinions about If You Come Softly & Every Heart a Doorway ... I've been eyeing the latter basically since it's come out, but feel unsure about it. (Also, may I just share with you that BTS is coming here to Europe and I'm low-key freaking out?! I have a feeling I might end up being one of the oldest people there except for all the moms. If I even get a ticket.)
ahh really random but im going on a 2-month trip to Taiwan, where my mom's from, in the summer so i'm bringing, like 15 books (it's quite the heavy load) 😂 i've been in such a reading slump lately but i think i'm in the mood to read again, though i don't know what to pick up. do you have any book slump book recommendations?
You should pick up some collections of Fernando Pessoa's poems. He was a Portuguese writer and poet and I honestly think you would like his poems :) lots of love
You're such a sweet person that I know I can like every video of yours before I even watch them. XD Currently picked up "Demon-Haunted World" by Carl Sagan, and I'm excited to finish that. On the topic of romance novels though, what is your biggest issue with the romance novels you've read?
ooo I read every heart a doorway, I gave it 3 out of 5 stars, its good but eh. it isn't about a group of people who go on adventure its about a group of people who once went through a magical door and aren't the same so they went to this school where they fit in, I made a review on it on my art account on instagram :) @aajm.art
How come you didn't mention Leah's bisexuality in your summary/feelings of the book? Would have been a nice time for you to briefly mention representation.
One of the reasons I keep on watching your videos is because of your voice. It's very calm and soothing. 😍 Love you Unnie!! 💕😂
If You Come Softly is so wonderful and not like typical insta-love stories you see in YA. It’s incredible but get ready to cry. 😣
I love Rainbow Rowell’s books as well! I read Attachments a few months ago and I absolutely loved it. I think there’s just something about the way Rainbow writes her characters that just makes me love her books so much. I hope you enjoy it!

The anime for wotakoi is SOOOOOOO CUTE

Hi! I would like to see you try reading Graineliers by Takarai Rihito. The artwork is beautiful! I want to see your thoughts about the manga :)
Have you read "Emergency Contact" yet? I like YA romances but oh geez I had soooooo many problems with that book!
ahh really random but im going on a 2-month trip to Taiwan, where my mom's from, in the summer so i'm bringing, like 15 books (it's quite the heavy load) 😂 i've been in such a reading slump lately but i think i'm in the mood to read again, though i don't know what to pick up. do you have any book slump book recommendations?
