I could forgive all the shitty parts about this movie simply for the final scene. Maybe Seagal is a bit of a sleeze bucket in real life but his message deep in his heart makes him a good person.
Basil Poledouris may be the hardest-working composer who ever lived. He always brought his "A" game, even to a "C" film. That his work stands so well on its own is a true testament to the melody and atmosphere he created in every one of his scores. As for this soundtrack, I love how it captures much of the primal, yet beautiful spirit of his Conan scores. If The Legend of Conan actually materializes, I would plead with the eventual composer to intensely study Poledouris' work.

Steven was ridiculed for his message about the environment because it wasn't cool at the time... fast forward 8 years and the Environment is the new big thing, and everyone started talking about the environment as if they came up with some kind of new knowledge - all they did was repeat Stevens message - Oh, and in case nobody knew, he is a US Marshal and has been ever since his Above the Law movie.. he just chose to keep it private until of late (not sure if the sleaze accusations would really stick)
That's true he was, but your right now everything is going or has gone green. Shihan Seagal is the real deal, I wont go into detail about the facts I know about him but there isn't much he hasn't seen or done.
Soundtrack is great as is his speech at the end of the movie. The movie itself is not a masterpiece but it´s entertaining as fuck and well worth watching if you like actionpacked movies. Besides there are some good actors in the movie and Im not talking about Steven Seagal..
The movie is still great and a 1 of a kind action movie with memorable remarkable lines. Caine had a blast playing a egregious Corrupt big buisnessman, and he hit a home run. Also his death was so damn perfectly fitting and in a league of it's own for villain deaths in general in movies, and all entertainment.
I have this terrific movie. It astounds me critics and others complain action movies don't have a good message or anything to say but when they finally get a action movie with a logical good message or something to say still whine and complain. Unfreakin believable

It's interesting how things have come since this movie came out back in 1994. There was a little false start with the General Motors EV-1 in 1997, but now more recently of course we have the Chevrolet Volt and the Tesla's, not to mention the e-bikes as well. Perhaps hopefully sooner than later North America can see more electric high speed rail as well, at least something more than just the Amtrak Acela.
