Thanks mate! I think they’re both great in their own ways. That thrill of a ‘proper’ race is awesome but the free, community spirit of parkrun is brilliant too!
came across your video in the "videos you may like based on your other subscription" listing. And like it we did! Hilarious and honest content, really enjoyed! :) Liked and subscribed, look forward to more.
Great video. I’m looking at doing the Greener Miles event in February at Whinlatter Forest. It’s a moon runner event so head torch at the ready. At least it means you’ll not see the steep climbs in the dark 😆
@AlPepperRuns You got lucky with the weather for a change ha. I don't think I've been to Hamsterley and it hasn't rained. Good luck with the next race and always love the cracking vids
Al, another great Video and whilst I realise modesty prevents you from declaring your time, you do ask your wife and younger brother to declare theirs , therefore I think as an avid viewer you should declare your time on these videos, if only for prosperity.
Haha, 1:02 and change for me! I was quite pleased with that though. Had fuel left in the tank and it was a hilly route too. Probably could have went sub-40 if I’d put my mind to it…
Class video as ever! And well done to everyone who did the race!
Cheers Dan! Appreciate it. I’ll hopefully see you at a run sometime soon too!
Thanks for a great day and weekend brother. Here’s to many more runs together!
Thank you! Had a class time! You were awesome on course and on camera!
Another great video Al and a great day at Hamsterley
Thanks Doug! Class day wasn’t it!
Quality vlog Super Al. Loved seeing your brother and Lorna. My girlfriend and I laughed so much 🤣
Thanks Dean! They’re great craic aren’t they, it was a pleasure having them there! Bit of a Pepper Gang!
Great day of trail running, made even better by the positive vibes of Al Pepper, made that hilly start feel slightly flatter 👍 cheers Al
Ha, thanks mate! Appreciate that. It was some hill wasn’t it!
Nice finish. Love watching your videos. I must do more races as well as parkruns.

Haha, that’s a good way of looking at it! I’ve not done any of the moon runner events, they look great fun though! Whinlatter’s really flat… right?!
@@AlPepperRuns Whinlatter parkrun is one of the toughest in the uk so you can imagine what the 10k is like 😂
Love a nice sprint finish
Ha, me too Liam. Although do you know what I love more… a relatively dry course for the first time in months!

@@liamallport3361 thanks Liam! Brass Monkey half marathon this weekend!
Sorry to have missed you on Saturday. What's the collective noun for a group of peppers? Keep up the fab work!
It was a busy event wasn’t it! See you at the next one hopefully! And ha! What a question! I need to think of a witty response…

@@lordbonville is that the actual group noun?! I have no idea!
