Demarcus Lawrence and randy Gregory putting the bend and technique on display and bending the edge and Micah Parsons shooting A/B gap is gonna be so toxic I love it
If the cowboys utilize him the right way, bc they want him to be a von miller that just pass rushes, but i think he is better if he is utilized like a devin white
I’m a eagles fan too bro. idk the cowboys lost by like 2 to the returning super bowl champs 🤦🏾 gonna be a tough season but I’m also happy for the cowboys they haven’t had a team like this l in a . Whole
He is playing so fast in the NFL right now. The guy is on his way to DROTY no doubt. He lined up in 4 different positions V the Vikings and had 11 solo tackles and like 2/3 tackles for loss in coverage and the run and put pressure and hits on the QB every time he rushed. He has been everywhere. The man looks like the best defensive player In the draft so far. He’s honestly one of the best defensive players in the league in general this season.
So far he looks like it no doubt. Guy has been the DROTY by a land slide. He lined up in 4 different positions V the Vikings and had 11 solo tackles and like 2/3 of them were TFL. I honestly don’t think I’ve ever seen someone as versatile as Parsons. The guy looked like a star in every position they lined him up in. Most athletes in the NFL can hardly play at a high level In ONE position and this rookie even produces sacks if u line him up at DE.
Just love how he tackles! Sideline to Sideline..no chasing people from behind or shoelace tackling! I can only hope he brings that dawg mentality we need🙏🏾
Just cause I respect ur assessment and how u seem to see the game. I’m curious what you’d say about Derrick Barnes..4th rnd out of Purdue. You don’t have to agree at all but what I see is maybe a step slower but his power and multi-position skill set on tape is clearly superior to me. And when u see his size and strength, that’s when his sideline to sideline kill everybody mindset pops off the screen. Watch how he handles o-lineman even. U just don’t see that on parsons tape. Looking forward to ur opinion.
@@chrismirault8657 Derrick Barnes is a nice find for the Lions. He looks to be a little more stocky in his build then Parsons but his height could have something to do with that. First things I noticed is one that he plays extremely strong and fast when down on the line which translates well on blitzing plays. Definitely has a nose for the ball and is fast just like Parsons for sure. I think Parsons has slightly better agility than Barnes but not enough to where it matters, while Barnes has a high motor and is probably stronger than Parsons which is why you see him leveling Olineman to make plays. For me, Barnes could be one of the steals of the draft if everything works out for him.
Thx for the exact kind of response I expected. Articulate and on point! The one thing I can’t ignore regarding parsons is that in the minimal tape I’ve watched(highlights) he is always able to run free unchecked or he’s just so fast blockers miss him entirely. My big concern is because of his superior God given ability he may lack the necessary techniques to shed elite blockers or know how to bend and use his body as leverage against what will be freaks of nature compared to what he is used to. If I’m wrong, parsons is the pick everytime. But if I’m right he might end up average and I will take the football player over the athlete every damn time at every position.
@@chrismirault8657 yeah your spot on with that about his ability to to shed elite blockers. I feel like the cowboys are hoping that by beefing up the interior DL, they'll take on multiple blockers which while allow him or any linebacker on the team to run more freely. Thats been the cowboys issue in the past, with linebackers getting caught up in the shuffle of the line play. If parsons can improve on what he's done in the preseason, as far as play reaction and getting his play speed up to par with the NFL. He'll be the next star of the defense. I appreciate you showing me Barnes! I had never seen him play, I'm definitely looking forward to seeing him play this season.
Honestly me personally I don’t want him in coverage as much i don’t mind it I want him after the QB I’d rather smith Vanderbilt eshe and Neal be coverage we can run a 4-3 defense
Straight monster.... however Parsons' last game was Dec. 28, 2019. Of course, that game was at AT&T Stadium at the Cotton Bowl against Memphis when he tied a career high with 14 tackles, including 2-sacks & 3 tackles for loss. To me that really doesn’t matter, Athletically, there is no denying Parsons' big talent. He ran a fucking 4.39 40-yard dash and had 192 tackles in 26 games. Not too shabby, He also had 6.5 sacks, 19 tackles for loss, 6-forced fumbles & 5-pass deflections. Yikes this kid is money!! Drafting Kelvin Joseph too, kid can blaze 4.34 speed son! Now they have Joseph & Trevon Diggs? You can build a defense around these 3 then add in DT Osa Odighizuwa, very disruptive player, and Nahshon Wright, CB, out of Oregon State, I think Wright is going to biggest surprise this season, he’s tall & rangy!! Jabril Cox, LB, LSU, he can do a lot, little bit of everything, Cox will be a starter by middle of the season, this D is going to soooooo nasty in 2022, they will be good this year, but next year it’s going to be straight fire!!!!!!
Born May 26, 1999. Played high school football for the Harrisburg Cougars (PA). Played college football for the Penn State Nittany Lions. Drafted #12 overall by the Dallas Cowboys. Who knows? Maybe he can help revive the Doomsday Defense. And maybe write an auto-biography like Thomas "Hollywood" Henderson. From his days in Harrisburg to his college days at Penn State to his journey into the pro ranks.
OK now. I'm basing all of my opinions strictly on these highlights. So it's difficult to judge his downside. Based on what I observed, he is lightning fast. A solid tackler with a nack of stripping the ball lose. He's very effective in the pass coverage. He's really good at manoeuvring around blockers and locating the ball carrier. The only downside that I've observed is his inability to intercept the ball. I noticed a few times on this video a ball should have been intercepted by him but instead ended up on the turf. So he needs to work on catching the ball better. Outside of that, I'm very impressed.
We got us another WAR DADDY on our hands our LBs and DL and Secondary all leveled up with this draft !!!! Would have rather got Horn but I think the office did right and definitely see potential in our secondary with the selections 💯 I bet the entire DL is smiling ear to ear rn because this boy can snatch the QB in the blink of the eyes and hammers runners at the LOS allowing DLaw and Gregory to focus on eating up QB sammiches
He so quick they dont even have time to react.. and he is now a Dallas cowboy! Let's gooo
Yea he looks pretty good as much as i wanted surtain i like this player more
Aged well

Yep. Neal and Cox as well are going to do some rushing for sure.
They sleeping on randy Gregory 💤 dude came off his couch last year and was dominant
“Toxic”? This isn’t a video game this is football
Hell yeah LFG
@@michaelsheppard87 tbh doesn’t have to be a video game to be toxic😂😂
Dude only played LB for two years and was elite. He’s barley scratching the surface of his potential.
And I can guarantee you that his New DC Dan Quinn can And Will bring out his true potential
And still a top 15 pick 🔥
Nobody will block him if he's on the rush ...then you show a blitz after a few sacks and back up in coverage and let lawrence and Gregory take it.
Agreed and his body hasn’t taken a lot of abuse yet
Zaven Collins is better.
He is gonna be so nice in the NFL

Hes so fast for how big he is. Welcome to Dallas Mr. Boucher
These highlights gave me chills 🥶 GO COWBOYS ⭐
1 of the best blitzing linebackers I’ve seen in a long time he just know when and how to shoot gaps gonna be a nightmare for my eagles 🤦🏽♂️

They addressed the whole DLINE and LB/DB corps. they are a 3-4 scheme, hybrid nickel.

Finally a player tribute viddy with good music...for the first 2 minutes anyway.
His speed, ability to evade blocks, and technique in wrapping up is what makes him one of the best in the game, college and pro.
Welcome to Cowboy Nation young stud 💪🏻❤️
