People are out here comparing him to Luke Kuechly, he’s not. This is a versatile Lawrence Taylor(meaning he can play fluidly at an Elite level at any LB or Edge position). He his the best run stopping Linebacker I’ve ever seen, his explosiveness, quickness in his feet, his Football IQ, the way he bends coming off the edge, the way he blitzes down the interior gaps with zero hesitation and the way he constantly attacks the play with aggression is the best I’ve EVER seen. I’m surprised his stats aren’t more inflated(like Wagner, Kuechly or Vander Esh) given the talent level & I was hoping he’d have a year to remember this season but it didn’t happen but at the same time the soul reason IMO that Penn State was a great & formidable team in 2019 in the Big 10 was because of this man. If I’ve got a draft pick in this draft & Trever Lawrence isn’t there I’m picking this guy. People want copy cats & the next up & the star comparables but this guy is his own mold he’s got comparable traits. This guy has the talent to lead the NFL in tackles, Sacks, TFL, QB hits, Forced Fumbles and pressures depending where & how you utilize him. He’s the type of guy that will lead your defence to a Super Bowl weather you utilize him like Ray Lewis or Von Miller. That being said busts, injuries & laziness do get the best out of hype sometimes but as a prospect this kid is one of a kind & he has the potential to be something we haven’t ever seen before & the best defensive player of his era.

He makes up for his size with his hand movement to get off blocks, and can tackle big guys because of his perfect form.

I can’t think of any times of him being burned in coverage off the top of my head. Remember too though that he is still just learning to play linebacker- he was a DE and running back in high school, who has only really played two seasons of linebacker. Still has room to grow.

Smith is a LOLB and parsons is a ROLB but parsons will be playing off the edge mostly and Neal or Cox will play ROLB for coverage. He will also play coverage and blitz out of the LB position like he did i in college.
Dan Quinn is good for taking a player out of position. Parson didn’t really play on the line in college yet plays on the line for cowboys. Let’s see if offensive coordinators catch on quickly
Parsons would have taken the 4-5 lions to a 6-3 or 7-2. Its not his fault that the big 10 played COVID games, but he was definitely missed. The defense was lacking without him, especially since it was expected to help out a new OC year 1.

Can he cover in space vs RB and TE?
I can’t think of any times of him being burned in coverage off the top of my head. Remember too though that he is still just learning to play linebacker- he was a DE and running back in high school, who has only really played two seasons of linebacker. Still has room to grow.

@@Roar_Restored there's videos of people talking about it on RUclips when they go over him and in scout reports they say he can make plays but it does need some work but alot also say he's the best linebacker prospect since luke kuechly guy also is still leaning the position because he played running back and defensive end so he's still learning which is scary when you see the tools he has to work with and what little time he had at the position

Smith is a LOLB and parsons is a ROLB but parsons will be playing off the edge mostly and Neal or Cox will play ROLB for coverage. He will also play coverage and blitz out of the LB position like he did i in college.
