I'd just highlight the inclusion of MRob's hit on Minny's safety. If I'm not mistaken, Michael has asked that it not be shared. I'd maybe take that out of this one.
National Champion Sugar Bowl vs. Gerogia pass from Blackledge to Garrity. '97 Aaron Harris and Curtis Enis runs vs. Ohio State #2 vs. #10 huge win. Couple plays from upset route of Marino and #1 Pitt in Pittsburgh in 1981 48-14.
2016 win over Ohio State and 2016 in general. The last time James Franklin didnt crap the bed coaching in the fourth quarter of a close game vs good team. He's done it non-stop since.
That Illinois game cost Penn State a national championship even though they won. Paterno called off the dogs and put his 2nd string in for the 4th quarter. And Illinois came back to take the lead.
It had nothing to do with Penn State's close call with Illinois --- it was simply the sports writers feeling sorry that Tom Osborne came close but never won a title whereas JoePa already had two --- in fact, the Cornhuskers called their 1994 season "Unfinished Business" because many people thought they deserved the title in 1993 despite barely losing to Florida State --- so the coaches and writers decided Old Tommy needed a nice retirement gift because he was such a loveable guy like JoePa --- EVERYONE knows PSU would've destroyed the Huskers on the field --- that is 100% fact and computer simulations of that matchup prove the Nittany Lions would be #1
@@billbelzek6748 To add further insult to injury, Nebraska would have even BETTER teams in 95 and 96, where they would win the national title in both those years as well. So in the end, they didn't really need the gift in 94.
I would argue the win against Indiana at home earlier in the season hurt them more. PSU was up 3 scores late and that is where Joe called off the dogs and had backups in. Indiana scored two late garbage time TD's to make it look close. It was after that week Nebraska and PSU switched 1 and 2 in the polls, and PSU never regained the top spot. In this Illinois game, PSU was behind until the very last drive, so of course the starters were never actually pulled from this game.
When Penn state was great, not like Franklin's teams , but winners when it mattered . Win the big game when it matters. This is the legacy , this is Penn State, Franklin watch this and see what Penn State legacy really is. Top recruiting classes? Just fuccking win James, like they did before in the past. A legacy , protect it and fucking just win...
Back when the white out game was for big games, OSU, Michigan. But under Franklin, because he can't win the big game, now the white out game is an easier opponent. Iowa and Minnesota the last two. When you have to schedule your signature big time event to ensure a victory because your coach can't beat top ten teams ... it's time for a new coach.
Look ..... It's the College Admin - which should have Taken Care of this Pedophile scene. There's alot of GOOD - JoePa brought to Penn State, especially the "Paterno Library". Can you - NAME another College, in which Football coach *donated* so much money to a University ?? Doubt It (Other than Bobby Bowden ??).
@@cjshrift1450 Since you put it that way, I can overlook the child molestation because there was a library built. I wasn't taking the library into consideration and it affected my decision making. I wonder how many libraries Joe Biden is going to have to build.

What should I put in part 2?
2012 Penn State vs Wisconsin
I'd just highlight the inclusion of MRob's hit on Minny's safety. If I'm not mistaken, Michael has asked that it not be shared. I'd maybe take that out of this one.
Big 10 champ vs Wisc
2006 Orange Bowl (Paterno vs Bowden) and the Drive vs Iowa in 2017

Any of LJ's 300 yard rushing games. The destruction of Dan Marino's panthers. The Notre Dame beat down from the white out.

livetotell100 yep paterno called off the dogs every game, they would’ve won every game by 60
@@steelcitysportshighlights4649 Yes, that was so frustrating at times...

Vinny Intercepta - Verdy wanted to throw the willing touchdown .....and failed.
I come back to this every time we lose
I miss the full back on offense
Greg Garrity catch in Sugar Bowl to propel PSU to first Championship?
It woould be really great if you could notate the video clips so we know more about them!
What about Blackledge to Greg Garrity in the 1982 championship game?!

The time a guy caught a ball with two feet out of bounds and the homer refs allowed.Nebraska 1982😅
Who can forget Jerry Sandusky's lasting legacy to the Penn State program?
Some of these moments have since been vacated.
None of them are anymore
I remember all the unreported child molestation that went on at Penn State because college football is just so important to the world.

It was horrible what happened but you really just clicked on this video to comment that
