Launching weight approximately 15000 tons!
Roughly 20 years ago a vessel like this was some of the biggest container ship in the world. You wonder what parameters they changed in construction, to built vessels with a capacity of 14.000 TEU nowadays, without changing their general measurements rapidly.

Why am I watching all these ship launching videos... I'm doing it again.
In Newport News, VA (NNS) they build the aircraft carriers in a drydock and flood it to bring the ship in the water. But they do build the submarines like this and let them slide into the Elizabeth River after they've been christened. I think this is the biggest ship I've ever seen slide into the water.

I remember watching such ships being launched into the Tees many years ago,awesome sight for a young child all now sadly just memories
