Great stuff! I have the position for the views and IPR switched up: IPR on the left, views on the right. For me that’s a clearer separation between read and write.
What the heck?! Why have I never thought to put my render settings in the interface?!?!?!? 🤦♂ I'm 2 minutes in and it's already worth the price of admission! 🙏
Two things I've added to my workspace are keyboard shortcuts for Model Mode, and Geo Only in the viewport. I have the Geo Only set to Ctrl+Shift+H just like in AE to get a quick look at everything.
Thought I wouldn't need to watch this video but as usual, Nick and the gang ALWAYS provide good information. Learned some little things that will make my worlflow a lot more streamlined so ty and keep up the great work!

I'm using Cinema4d 2023 on a Mac. I just installed it, and I cannot dock any of the panels. when I click on the hamburger menu so I can drag to dock somewhere else, it doesn't move, instead, it just gives me a menu. Please help
Yes there is actually but its hidden away somewhere in the Appdata folder somewhere I believe. You just have to save your custom layout and then place it in the new correct folder for cinema 2023
@@ThomvanVliet Thanks! I will have to look for that. My layout took me way to long to customize, small menus and collapsed buttons. Probably have to install all the plug-ins before i try to import the layout tho.
@@joakimulseth yes exactly! Me too. So far I've been transferring my layout successfully since r20, but with a lot of new buttons in this version Ill probably rebuild that version so to not miss out on stuff.

Also, recently built a Windows box after being on Mac since OSX Tiger. That arrow/resize cursor is my arch nemesis. 😡

are you guys using redshift more than octane ? obviously for tutorials but how about personally ?
