They have long since left their primary mission which is to educate children. The Chicago kids are far behind in reading and writing and math. But they don't care, all they care about is spending money consolidating power. I would be fine with their political meddling IF they were succeeding in their primary mission. Instead they are failing horribly.

It just depends on who you are? If, you're a poor person on welfare, you're gonna be able to out of the taxes. If, you're a gangbanger, drug dealer, criminals of any sort; you don't pay taxes. If, you're a corporate big wig, you'll find loopholes. This will only affect the middle class (the wealthy, land owners and small businesses/mercantile class)...
@@paulwolf7562 As you are correct in some ways but the biggest taxes this man wants there is no loophole for business and it’s going to affect everyone. He wants higher taxes on jet fuel at the airport’s that’s going to affect everyone also he wants a 3-4 dollar employee tax on companies that do 50 percent of their business in Chicago, what that means is companies with x amount of employees ( he’s not saying how many) will pay 3-4 dollars extra for each employee. Now that’s just a couple that stands out for what this man wants.

This is so sad and I saw it with my own eye. When unions, NGOs, other organizations and corporate PACs donate to political candidates, those candidates will honor the big bucks and not the small dollar donors. When I went to my state legislature for different hearings, the rooms were filled with lobbyists and barely had room for concern citizens.
But people should be smart enough to see they are lies.

Republicans need to fully embrace School Choice to include funding equally for public, private, religious and home schooling. It works, and it is the only fair thing to do. Education needs to be returned to the states where our highest standards were reached in 1968. Under the Federal Department of Education, our education standards have declined since 1969 with more money thrown at it every year.
