1985 Lotus Excel

It was a Lotus model that was never sold in the United States - the Excel. Jeremy Benson of Newtown, CT has owned the right-hand drive British sports car since June 2021 and he took it out on the road RIDE-CT.

I own a 1990 model and funny thing mine has a Toyota Supra gear box and it only has 5 forward Gears

Cool car man, and great that you have one out in the states! Don't worry about few people knowing what it is, I have a 1982 Eclat/Excel that I race here in SCOTLAND, and hardly anyone knows what it is either! 😁

Love my 91 excel S.E. here in Florida. Had mine imported in 2017. Bought in early 2016. Very reliable car!
