This dude influenced my life a ton! Thank you Richard! Your number 3 on my list. Gygax, Lee, Garriot.
Why is it wrong for me to describe Richard's attitude as "factually well-informed, tolerant of alternative opinions, and guided by rational thought" ?
Oh, me too. I know who you are Billy K ;) Raf Colantonio here
@@WeirdWolves Hey man!!!! I don't think most people can understand what it is like to encounter a true revolutionary in there field. Richard was it!
Everyone was looking in one direction and he came along and broadened the horizons of everyone. That one year after release of UO was a WTF to every game dev there was that was dealing with online games or hell just games. It broadened the entire genre.
I've heard he keeps that tape in his pocket at all times.
He is so young there...
Would you upload the full Austin City Limits Tejano Music Special from 1995, with Flaco Jimenez, Rick Orozco, Joel Nava, La Diferenzia, and Freddy Fender?
Awesome
I looked so much cooler in 95...
Did you own a dictionary in 1995?
The host is annoying AF.
Also he looks like an older Hacksaw Jim Duggan.
The host is doing a great job considering he would be more at home discussing Nascar than early days video game development with a pioneer of the industry.
He’s a really interesting person and PC gaming royalty. Too bad he’s such a liberal SJW now.
Yes, Richard Garriott practices the virtues, and he always had an enlightened attitude on race. Maybe you didn't play Ultima VI.
His last game was a scam, so perhaps he still got some of that good old conservative mindset after all.
@@RobbyRaccoon I attribute grifting more to Lefties.

@@Will-xk4nm "enlightened attitude" HAH. I love Richard and started UO in 97. But seriously "enlightened" OMFG get over yourself!
