Have been a customer for years to HRD - it worked very well, but then continually started to drop out from the CAT and the radio controls. It is well designed, has a huge amount of functionality but, LOG4OM is free (buy them a coffee!), and does all I need without dropping out - so currently not using HRD. I will have a look at the new HRD update, and thanks for showing this Mike. Of course it could be my PC, my cables, RFI etc - this new software does look great.
Lol. I have an intel Mac and did boot camp just so I can boot natively into windows and use win4yeasu, HRD, winlink, etc. when I’m done playing I reboot and get to the Mac side of things. Would love more ham software for Mac
I love all the features, especially once they get the mac version… but did I miss something… I want to see, if I’m running a pileup, how easy/quick is the basic logging? Did I miss how to log a contact?
I am hoping they make and trst a version that can work okay on a laptop screen. POTA with dual 42" screens can be a challenge... Matching the RADIO Panel would be SO cool!
No clue. I'm waiting for the Mac version to use it. I would doubt I'd want to use it for portable though. Get HAMRS. You won't regret it. www.hamrs.app
If you keep zooming in on K8MRD's house eventually you'll see the small sign in the yard that says "This home protected by Satan" 🐈⬛ I bought a license for this but I'm looking forward to the next big update as well.
I wish you had noticed the mapper feature that does not work 90% of the time and asked him about it or the tune feature that has never worked. He puts all this eye candy in it and does not make the software 100% functional. The digital program does not work for me. Love the phrase "it does everything WSJT-X does not do". Nothing I have any interest in. Drive safe
@@hamradiotube WSJT-X is great it was his sales job, his framing his product. I own it. Rig interface, big button, Mapper don't work or will quit after one load. Audio tuner does not work. Does not work on Mac. Another big shortfall is lack of documentation. Big support system that relies on a forum. Contest facility is not even good. Lots of radios don't have support. Yours does, 991 does and some others. It would be nice if they tried to make it all work reliably

Good job and thank you, Mike
Been using HRD for a few weeks. Still learning and loving the features. Can't wait for the update. Hoping for dark mode.

Been using HRD a few weeks, mostly for CAT. I also linked HRD and WSJTX. And I am still learning features.
I've been using HRD for about 3 years now. GREAT software. Can't wait for the new features to be added.
I can't wait to be able to use it. They keep teasing me with a Mac release.

That is some impressive software.

Hello my friend Joshua terrific job 73
You said Mac and my ears perked up
Cant wait for the Mac release
You and me both! I just wish it were coming sooner.
Yeah, Michael is a nice fella. I must re-install my "VIP" copy!! :)
Lord Callum approved!
Man... I really, really, would like to see it runs on my Linux distro. 😞
That’s some really awesome software, my only question is what does it NOT do?
Get them to call the Mac version “Mac Radio Deluxe”. Then charge them a royalty fee to use your call sign.

I have been using a laptop. My extra monitor is shared between the rig and laptop. I REALLY need another monitor.
I'm curious, as to how portable this app is... May not work very well without a good Internet connection. Is it good for POTA?

I don’t know what wsjt-X doesn’t do. It does everything it’s supposed to. What are we missing??
