Hi! Thanks for the review! unfortunately, the first mini-batch was released with an incorrect tag. The right water resistance is 5000mm like on the website. We hope you will be satisfied with the rain jacket. Enjoy your hikes!
@ROCKFRONT Thanks for clarifying! We really like your rain hoody and it's features. I suspect your jacket would be pretty well received by Appalachian Trail hikers once more hikers discover your company. I would love to see a pair of matching rain pants with a similar long zip down each side! Just an idea! Thanks for the thought you put into your products
@eddierodriguez7250 Wow, just checked and got the 404 error message...maybe shoot them an email. Could be it crashed due to volume? rockfront.equipment@gmail.com
How is the fit in the chest + shoulders and overall roominess of the medium Rock Front in relation to the large Visp? I have a medium Visp and I am wondering if I should stick with a medium in the Rock Front or explore a small
@btp6262 Just tried them both on to check...they feel almost the same in the chest/shoulders. If the sizing holds true for other sizes, I suspect the Small RF would be about the same as a Medium Visp...but don't hold me to that! Good luck!
I have looked on the website last week and out of stock. Then I thought I have a silnylon poncho I may try. I’m looking to do the Inca trail soon if the wife allows. 🤞🏻

I've been eyeing the Rock Front, but I'm not sure the sizing would work out for me. Do you feel like the size chart on the website was accurate? I really love a long pit zip and the price is nice.
@middleearthchronicles2269 We found their website's sizing chart accurate. It's what caused us to be mostly confident a MED would fit when we usually wear LRG. For more context, the MED still gives us plenty of room to wear a puffy or mid-layer underneath without being overly bulky on it's own. I see they now offer a size L on their website but M is currently out of stock. Noticed RF just commented on this vid so I suspect they'd be responsive if you reached out to them too. Hope this helps!
@mauriceheneghan1554 Haven't had enough miles on it yet to say for sure. Given it is single layer polyester, I suspect it will be good (since poly is WP on it's own, and there are not multiple layers that could delaminate). Planning another review after wet/cold AT miles this winter.

I went to purchase one but the website looks like it was shut down. Did the company disappear?

Thanks for the upload, looking forward to seeing the performance review!
@mihail7185 So far it's looking promising but want to get some more miles on it in wet/cold weather before making too many conclusions!
@@WillowWalksTheAT Understood, thank you. Also thanks for being diligent about it!

How is the wear and tear when using with a backpack?

Thank you. Sounds promising. I have just received mine.
