Raz is one of my favorite personalities in the LCS this man makes even the most quiet players feel at ease. Total banger of an episode and look forward to the next pros. Maybe we can even get Jensen in if they win next week 😳
I think Inspired's been doing pretty good this split, and his blunt personality has kinda grown on me. Maybe be could word things nicer, but seeing how Jensen performed this split makes me think Inspired's comments aren't just hot air.
I think for most people the problem wasn't his criticism of Jensen (like you said, he's been looking pretty weak), but rather the manner in which he chose to air those comments. No matter how badly your teammate plays, trash talking them in a post game interview and going into detail about how they lost you the game is always going to be a net negative for any team in the long run lol
4:30 Really good read on NRG from Inspired here, I think. "Not patient with their cooldowns" describes so much of NRGs problems. So often I'm just wondering why they're going so ham on just the slightest opening at random times. That along with the lack of team coordination is the main problems i think
Listening talk about how TL's team fighting is weak, and all I can think about is the last FLY teamfight vs C9 where they had a three side pinch and got destroyed
Just finished the ep and i dont get what trash you are talking about. Feel like he did not call anyone out or trash them at all this episode. But then again in from EU, and dont read into things said bluntly as much as tend to do in NA
@LK2909 did you have the volume up when you watched, how did you miss everything he said about Dignitas?? To be fair, Dig looks pretty horrible right now so he wasn't wrong, but to say he didn't trash talk anyone this episode is wild lol
@LK2909 again, you're just picking what you want to hear lol. Busio: "yeah, we thought 100T were going to win." Raz: "Oh really? Was that just based on scrim knowledge or what?" Inspired: "We can read the names bro lol." A minute later, Inspired: "First of all, if you want to be good in scrims, you actually have to be good." I know you're referring to the fact that he called them "not bots" which I guess means they're not bad players, but you have to agree that he was objectively trash talking them, right? It's not like he insulted their moms or called them ugly, sure, but to say that he didn't trash talk or call anyone out this episode just doesn't make sense.
I feel like I don't see this whole "lane swaps are boring" discussion that's constantly pushed. Even then, seeing good proactive teams actively doing lane swaps or even predicting it against another good proactive team actually causes a ton of action and it's super interesting to see how they adapt. It's not nearly as boring as it was back in season 5 every dang game double jungling handshake.
It's not lane swaps that are boring, but rather any winning play style gets boring after repeated use. Funneling, Taric Sona bot, and even mage supports (Malzahar, etc) were praised the first few times they were played. Eventually the narrative changes and pushes those strategies out as "Boring".
riot doesn't want pro play to look completely unrecognizable from soloq. some lane matchups are just unplayable and laneswaps are the solution to this. i agree i prefer watching teams come up with solutions instead of playing out lost game from champ select. better to just push the narrative that laneswaps are boring.
@@Gmuni0this is it. We could have a new meta with all assassins in the bot lane and it would still eventually get boring if it was dominant for too long.

Eh I think that's actually just the players they got tbh they usually get players who are old teammates or have Zven doing it who obviously knows how to talk to the players.
Raz doesn't really analyze anything, or at least doesn't convey his analysis well. Which makes it seem rough when leading these convos cause the questions seem basic and he doesn't help the players find good answers

Hot take:Lane swaps are the current strategic pinnacle of pro play. The casters are stuck in the past saying everyone hates the lane swaps.bit this meta is very different than old lane swaps and is actually varied
I'm glad people are starting to realize it's okay to criticize others in sports, why fans are so soft in this sport makes me wonder if they have ever been in a competitive team environment. You aren't going to be a better player by being caudled or the truth held from you to spare feelings. It's a sport, and to be a winner you have to drop your ego.
Too much Meech slander he was not the reason bot lane struggled, meech and tomo have VERY similar play styles, you can’t do anything as adc when your support misses EVERY skill shot and engage, and 100T knows that just looks at the supports Eyla has been playing since Tomo joined and even still Eyla keeps missing and screwing up engages
But that's not even true. TL Duo is slamming everyone in the league. Impact doesn't lose to anyone, and can go even/win matchups he's supposed to lose. APA HAD a weak lane phase, then spent the split solo killing nearly every laner. TL lanes aren't weak, lane assignments are just a natural progression of the game, and they have the knowledge to pull that off, too.
@@LargeMcBottoms I feel like APA has been a little bit of a Tristana/Corki merchant. With the new patch, his issues might rear their head again when he plays against someone like Quad, who seemed so in control against NRG
@@willtollefson4746 But people said this last year saying he was a "Ziggs Asol merchant" and even during MSI people were expecting TL to insta lose when they picked trist and corki. APA's shown that he's able to adapt to meta well and honestly he's champ pool is quite large at this point.
@LargeMcBottoms but that's what I'm saying. Their strongest weakness is their laning. I'm not saying they are bad. They excel at everything thing else. But imo it's their laning that would be their strongest weakness
Raz, please find a different way to ask questions and drive discussions than "what's your thought on", "what do you think about" or "what's your assessment of". It's fine here and there, but it becomes dry and repetitive, and leads to boring responses like "just play well" or whatever.

Sad that Busio chose to take a backseat since Inspired answered what he would say. We shouldn't have players from the same team on, ideally.

I actually like lane swap as a fan. While it’s often not explosive it leads to more interesting pathing and unique early game states
The game feels so much more dynamic. Instead of the only moving piece being the jungle everyone is everywhere. Really love them tbh
Exactly
Its not actually that bad, but every region and everyweek theres a lane swap.
Yeah, I don't mind it. It gives something different and somewhat more strategically interesting than the more mechanical focus of a normal lane.
I dont mind it as well, I always like deviations in the way games can be played.

Yep and change the title to Razzin' the Pros.
the TL cope is so funny to me. "it doesn't matter that they went undefeated in series" when they literally have to beat them in a series to win.
I think it’s fair. Just because they went undefeated doesn’t mean they aren’t beatable. They’ve only played 7 series, it’s not a large sample size.
