OK folk art has the jadeite paint in glossy finish..I got it at Michael's. Also vintage buttons or rusty jingle bells would be cute on the thread spool bottle brush trees. All so cute!
The hotter the water, the quicker it refreshes the trees! I just sprayed a tree with the sink sprayer (yes I did it that way because I'm so impatient I couldn't wait for a pan to fill!) I used super hot tap water and it revived a ridiculously flat tree in 30 seconds. I was absolutely stupified and so happy!

I love the spools! I quilt a lot so i save my empty spools. I will use your suggestion about the fabric on the painted spools but make them ornaments for my sewing inspired Christmas tree. I just found your channel today and i am already in love with everything you do! Thanks for sharing.
I have loved bottle brush trees ever since I was a kid. My Great Aunt Dot had THE most beautiful Xmas ornaments and decor. She had bb trees in every color… most were made from the aluminum(?) brushes from back in the day… those suckers would hurt… for YEARS they weren’t popular and if you COULD find em, they were $$$$. But NOW they are everywhere!!!! My collection (never a hoard) has grown exponentially over the past 2 years- but especially THIS year. If I’m out and see some size shape or color I like… I’m honestly not sure how many j have now cause I get them for ANY and EVERY holiday they put them out… not big on embellishments on them imo they don’t need any… I’m pulling them all out now!!! Thank YOU for this AWESOME video!!!!!

Love them all! But then I realized you have all those terracotta planters with holes... im going to do a couple upside down with painted Christmas colors. I've done a few other ones this week with candlesticks, lamp bases, spools. I love the shoe forms you did!
