My son is a tank too! He’s so tall and it’s been such a pain getting him in the seat. When I tell you my jaw dropped when you showed it. I thought it was more involved like the carry-able infant car seat we started with. Thanks so much!!

Omg!!! Thank you so much for this video, and the comments. Between the lifting of the headrest and the button where the lever is between their legs (you have to stick your finger in the hole where the strap is coming out of, and push down) it was such an easy task!
I wanna say I love you! LOL!! I figured out how to pull the headrest up to extend the straps but knew nothing about the lever to loosen the strap to actually adjust the seat belts/straps. Omg! Thank you!! And my two year old granddaughter thanks you! Game changer!!!!!!! 😂🤣😂🤣

Hi First thanks a lot, I was exploring the internet with no results until I found your video.. But as far as I understand, if you lift the headrest, you lose the head protection (if the baby/ kid is not tall enough yet), don't you?

That’s how you make the straps higher. I was hoping this video would show how to push the central front adjuster button and pull the shoulder straps to lengthen them.
Apologies for the confusion. I've tried to title the video in such a way to indicate how to lengthen the straps when the button-lengthening method is maxed out. But you're not the only one who's mentioned this.
I rarely comment on you tube videos but dammit to hell…. I had to give you much thanks.. my toddler has been so uncomfortable because we couldn’t figure out how to adjust it.. I can’t believe it was that easy… thank you thank you thank you!

THERE IS ALSO A BUTTUN IN THE CENTER OF WHERE YOUR CHILDS LEGS HANG THAT ACTUALLY LOOSENS THE STRAPS. Lifting the head rest will SLIGHTLY lengthen straps but at the cost of misplacement of the side impact cushions. Button just has to be pushed upward.
Hey, Claire. Thanks for the comment. We use the button all the time to loosen/tighten the straps when we're putting our kids in their car seats. It works great. But there came a point where the straps were too tight on the shoulder as our kids grew and it only loosens so much with the button, so we had to raise the head rest so the car seat grows with the child. Are you saying there's an alternative to this?

You're not supposed to have them wearing jacket in car seat. It's not safe

Yes, you are exactly right. You shouldn't raise the headrest higher than the child's head.

Yes, but mine no longer works. Like it's run out of strap or something. I've never had this problem in my 26 years of car seats....
