600 packages stowed per hour is impossible at my warehouse, we do 300 per hour thats because we have plenty of heavy packages like water in bulk, dog food and cat litter boxes that weigh 40-50 pounds..

With stow by light, sometimes the lights don't work or it lights up where it shouldn't. This is why they always want us to have the device on our wrists so that we can make sure we're putting the packages in the correct spot.
Do you guys have Stow carts ? Here at our Sortation center here in California USA 🇺🇸 it’s mandatory that we use them at all times when we do stow along with our Ring finger scanner to be the most efficient lol I do 10 hour shifts I switched from the 8 hour shifts cause ya know more money lol

@@dogminister hey good luck on your interview. I have another job now so I’m focusing on that but the role itself wasn’t too bad. I heard it depends on your warehouse location but the one I worked in had the machines and conveyer belts doing most of the work. They’ll put you in different sections but they’ll be people to explain what you need to do. The only downside is that PMP is employing a lot of people for the Christmas period so you may go without a locker, receive slow communication and be overworked. Enjoy your shift & try to make the most of it

Wear something comfortable because you'll be standing the whole night and make sure you rest properly before you start work, and take your water though there's water at the warehouse house. And don't feel pressured about the job, it will be very stressful at first but you'll get used to it.
Jobs like this are so easy to teach people and even tho they say you don't need experience and they will train you they still don't hire you sometimes because of your of lack of experience 🙄it's so annoying. That's why it's so hard to find jobs now days

You go work in a slave driven workplace and follow every rule. No way in hell she'll be able to take them off of the cart one by one and meet the companies time frame. It's not like she can take her sweet time.

Not it’s not mandatory, they always asked if you’d wish to do it if you said yes they’ll write down your name so you can be paid for it. You can always say no if you don’t want to.

It's not mandatory to use the Amazon car park, but parking on the street will get you a ticket. At my warehouse, the car park only gets crowded in the morning, just a few associates drive to work at night. Getting a parking space at night is not something to worry about because there are always spaces to park at night.

Depending on your region, for London it's 12£ an hour, it an easy process, they have a fixed hour, 8hours for night shift and 4-6 hours for hybrid shift.

During peak period it's 10 hours shift, and for a blue badge, it's 40 hours per week that's 5 days per week.

I do stowing at the fulfillment center and I could tell you now the stowing at the sortation center is easier.

If you are stowing the day goes by fast, but picking nahhh you'll sleep 😆😆 splitting is the worse, in the UK it's 12£ an hour and some pennies

How much does it pay per hr? Is the job hunt process easy? Can you have 5 hr shifts?
Depending on your region, for London it's 12£ an hour, it an easy process, they have a fixed hour, 8hours for night shift and 4-6 hours for hybrid shift.
