I really liked those camera shots focusing on the drawing so closely, together with the photograph, the pencil working and the drawing flowing with all its details so defined. Good work Gail. Beautiful watercolor Charles, I love it. Greetings.
Thank you for the excellent presentation and knowledge of the medium. I got my lyra72 set Saturday. What colors should I gather to follow along with your teachings.
WOW you are such a fantastic artist to watch,, I'm only just learning to do loose watercolour as I have ocd and has to be rigid, just wish I cud do 1 like yours, also great banter as always between you and Gail 😂😂😊
Charles, how do you manage to drawing such small lines with your normal brush? I have to use a number 0 to get even remotely close! Thanks for the tutorials, they are so informative.
What has always grabbed me with your work over the years, is your ability to draw. Your painting techniques are fabulous, but your ability to sketch goes a bit unnoticed, in my view.

Thank you for the excellent presentation and knowledge of the medium. I got my lyra72 set Saturday. What colors should I gather to follow along with your teachings.
You will see that on the pencils videos I’ve done. I tend to use the same few colours all of the time. About 10.
Brilliant 😊
Thank you so much.
Thank you! Beautiful! But very beautiful too the painting on the wall....a tutorial for that one please?!

Thank you.
The camera is doing it's own thing from 11:48 😃(I think it was just zoomed in too far) But it all worked out in the end. Lovely as usual.
I hate technology!!
@@charlesevans7706 👍It can be a pain in the backside
Awesome thank you
You’re very welcome.
Yay!🎉
Charles Evans shared a video!🎉
Ahahaha.
Спасибо!!!❤
Thank you too.
Lovely Water colour. Is there any chance of another acrylic painting ? Perhaps an autumn forest scene with lots of reds, yellows and browns?
Bellissimo Charles... E davvero un bellissimo video, complimenti anche alla signora regista... È tua moglie? Un saluto buon tutto
I’m pleased that you enjoyed it.
Thanks to the two of you. I feel as though I have spent time with friends.
That’s lovely. Thank you.
💜💜💜
That one's a looker. People worried about the pencil bits should probably watch one of the other ones about the watercolor pencils.
Yes probably.
Great tutorial Charles by the way do you ever use soft pastels
No, I just don’t like them.
Fantastic tutorial and a wonderful painting. Only thing I hate is how many adverts there are on this video.
Pleased you enjoyed the video.
Charles, how do you manage to drawing such small lines with your normal brush? I have to use a number 0 to get even remotely close! Thanks for the tutorials, they are so informative.
Just practice.
What has always grabbed me with your work over the years, is your ability to draw. Your painting techniques are fabulous, but your ability to sketch goes a bit unnoticed, in my view.
Thank you kindly.
Thank you Charles
Thank you.
I just wondered if you ever use Raw Sienna, I didn’t notice any in your online shop. Thanks
Yes and in acrylics and watercolour, they’re both on the shop.
@ okay, I recently ordered French Ultramarine, wish I’d seen that too.
❤❤❤❤❤❤

A long video and I thought it’d be a bit boring … far from it … as entertaining, informative, educational and instructive as always. Camera work a bit off in the beginning but recovered and another excellent video!
Yes, I'm sorry about that! I think a bit of magnification crept in. Either that or a senior moment😳
I know those senior moments oh so well
Hi
Is this french ultramarine or ultramarine ??
Beautiful work
Ultramarine
@charlesevans7706 thanks for your response.
I got so confused last week.
I was following a watercolor book and the artist mentioned ultramarine is Green shade.
And frnch ultramarine is warm n reddish..
Very confusing fr a beginner like me .
Thx
Neither of which is right. One is darker than the other, simple.
@charlesevans7706 thanks
🎨🙏🧡you are a great teacher...
I guess I read too much on Google ang got into a rabbit hole thinking that green ultramarine can't be used for skies etc.
N my choice of ultramarine will effect greens ...N ur sky turned out super..
Thx
Could you possibly send me the name of this building thank you
Sibson Inn.
How do you manage to get true colours when your palette is so messy😅
Well practiced.
How about a portrait or two …
Not such good camera work on this one! 😮
Sorry you didn’t like it.
It didn’t spoil my enjoyment… enhanced it actually… it made it more human … even the charming Gail can make errors 😂 …. We all love your videos … keep them coming.
