    I really liked those camera shots focusing on the drawing so closely, together with the photograph, the pencil working and the drawing flowing with all its details so defined. Good work Gail. Beautiful watercolor Charles, I love it. Greetings.

      You will see that on the pencils videos I’ve done. I tend to use the same few colours all of the time. About 10.

    The camera is doing it's own thing from 11:48 😃(I think it was just zoomed in too far) But it all worked out in the end. Lovely as usual.

    Lovely Water colour. Is there any chance of another acrylic painting ? Perhaps an autumn forest scene with lots of reds, yellows and browns?

    Charles, how do you manage to drawing such small lines with your normal brush? I have to use a number 0 to get even remotely close! Thanks for the tutorials, they are so informative.

    What has always grabbed me with your work over the years, is your ability to draw. Your painting techniques are fabulous, but your ability to sketch goes a bit unnoticed, in my view.

    Nice painting Charles using artists licence ,i see you've changed ur pencils from Ikea to screw fix lol ,i didn't know you came from Castleford ?
    lived up there in Normanton years ago till i came to wales to get away from the rat race so to speak.
    i met you at patching's years ago ,me and my daughter booked a session with you ,glad to see your still going at it ,tho ive diverged from painting to metal detecting and wood carving .must get back into painting now im retired , take care carry on painting .Ant the Yorkshire man in wales lol .

      I got so confused last week.
      I was following a watercolor book and the artist mentioned ultramarine is Green shade.
      And frnch ultramarine is warm n reddish..
      Very confusing fr a beginner like me .

      I guess I read too much on Google ang got into a rabbit hole thinking that green ultramarine can't be used for skies etc.
      N my choice of ultramarine will effect greens ...N ur sky turned out super..
