Used the generic gem from cyber deals to awaken my kitty, now I have a 6* rank 3 kitty. Really fantastic guide Vega, even on champs I think I know everything on, you still teach me something new! I will say, the wolverine synergy is so underrated! Especially with specials with a lot of hits (winter soldier SP2 for example) the chance to gain even more prowess is crazy. You can even use it to regain prowess after specials if they still hit you while phased (can be a little tricky to time/explain).

I've been saying she is the best 6* available champ in the game and that she's better than Ghost. People been calling me crazy. I'm so glad you're bringing some light to how absolutely insane she is.
Same here man. I'd take Kitty over anyone else if Kabam suddenly said, "Hey guys, we have a new engine but you have to rebuild your entire account but dont worry we're giving you your pick of any champ available in the game and we're giving you all the materials to rank them up based on your previous highest ranked champ." That champ is the real deal and makes having Ghost overkill.

I have her at R3 and she has so many uses. It’s insane how great she can be for so many match ups. She also can kick True Strike’s ass.
Ghost has cleared so much content for me and probably for that reason, think she’s still top of the game alongside with Quake, however I have to admit Kitty is stronger, recent champs have become more and more overpowered with little skill involved. Once you know the best cycle for Namor (prior nerf), ProfX, Doom, Herc, Kitty, Knull, Apocalypse, CGR...I mean you can clear pretty much everything with little effort, unlike in the past where having a 4s Quake was simply learning how to use her without missing a dex in order to be able to take down 30k HP characters.
Nowadays content has 300k and it takes just too long, and there’s way more viable options for nodes and stuff. I’m glad however that Ghost hasn’t shifted completely out of the meta since she’s still my fave.

It's the second time I'm watching this video, because the first time I didn't have her in my roster, but now I just pulled a 5* and I revisited all your Kitty Pryde videos. Great job with them man. Really helpful, and you just gave me the answer of continuing my progress, because I was stuck in 7.2.5 at that pesky Dragon Man boss which has stun reflection and power gain. Well guess what, I'm going to level up and try Kitty there.
Hopefully she is as great without suicides as with them on, albeit I'm going to lose the cool healing up due to the poison debuff always active.

Awesome and really informative video. Thanks for it. I’m always amazed to see the things she can do. She’s been my most wanted 6 star since she got released and even though I’m “only” missing an alpha to get my first rank 4 I am going to hold off on ranking anyone else to 4 until I get her, which might be a long time, lol.

YES, Vega! We really do need to start the Kitty being the best champ in the game dialogue. Everyone that has her ranked up at 5 and/or 6* is in agreement here sir. There's no denying that she deserves that attention. It aint hype either.

I want to emphasize that concept-wise, a big part of what makes the "spinnaker one-two" work, is:
you're timing the rotation loop, so that the phase expires just before executing the re-phase.
M dash + start phase, L, backdash, backdash ends, phase ends
M dash + start phase, L, backdash, backdash ends, phase ends
M dash + start phase, L, backdash, backdash ends, phase ends
You're timing the dash back so that Kitty is fully back and ready for another Dash, right when her phase is ending. This results in Kitty being phased for almost the entire rotation loop.
Vega583, I know you know all this already. And you demonstrate it in your video. But I wanted to just spel it out like that to highlight for people the core of what is happening.
Also, maybe shorten the name to the "1-2 Spin" or the "Kitty Spin".

I just pulled her as a 5*. Normally wouldn’t rank up a 5* anymore, but I did with her… she is ridiculous! Love playing her.

@@amgking7243 If you don’t have the 6 star, I can recommend ranking up the 5 Star. Damage is good once u build those prowess and the utility that comes with her phase mechanic is ridiculously good.
@@shonuff8848 yeah considering it, but I just practiced a little with her and getting my ass kicked. Just like it was with ghost initially.

@@amgking7243 Yeah… it was (and still is) the same for me. The playstyle takes some getting used to, but it’s worth it (just like with Ghost). I already knew how good Kitty was, so took her to R5 right away without even playing her… knowing I would take the time to learn her.
What about Apoc + Prof X or Apoc + Wags synergy? She needs only ghost and Tigra so why not go with them?

I pulled her recently and think she's great but i do think the increasing number of champions that have cowardice are going to effect her viability. Is there anyway to overcome that because her basic attacks don't hit that hard and if you can't gain prowess for specials, you're in for 1 long fight.
No, Cowardice is a way to shut her down
Hunting for herc and have her at r3 UnDuped. So hard to resist using it. Her featured drop is so long away too 😬

As much as I get that Kitty is great, shes not better than ghost, quake, AA, mags, NF etc. She does a lot of stuff and especially with suicides, but she doesnt bring the same power as those other champs. As in, she will get you through a lot, but doesnt necesssarily do anything better than anyone.
Great video, but imo i dont think shes close to Ghost and the rest of the top champs. She maybe is a top 10 champ, wouldnt argue no to that. Imo
Kitty is basically Ghost with Wasp and Hood synergies wrapped into one and her utility allows her to bypass so many abilities and nodes that it’s compareable to Quake. Her damage output isn’t something to ignore either as she can throw out hundreds of thousands of damage on her sp2 with a pretty quick ramp up. She may not have the raw power of Ghost against nodes like Hazard Shift but her overall use surpasses Ghost easily
@@FintechMCoC I agree. She just has more overall utility than Ghost. And the fact that she can also damage opponents while phasing is a big deal.

@@Mandarashu I agree with that too. She again, has more utility than Red Magneto. The key is, you have to be very skilled with her. She's better than Hercules in my opinion.

Shed gain prowess when u crit and if u block the sp1 she wont lose the prowess and u cannot intercept her or stun her so everyone would probably die

My first six star I rolled over three kitty prides and then got a hulk rag then my second six star i was in between nebula and hyperion and pulled a doctor strange. This game truly is rigged

After watching this it makes me think why does nick fury need to kill of his lmd to stay unblockable once you build his charges and why does Corvus even have only 20 charges per fight NF should be able to go unblockable with a synergy in his lmd state and Corvus should just always have his 4 persistent charges he shouldn't have to build up in 4 fights lol haha I know I'm asking for a bit much but come on it can happen lol. kitty just proves that she is Soooo Damn Juicy lol.
