You should run the cruelty stat focus for him, with the dupe in increases the crit bleed damage even more.

Don't forget the synergy that makes his arrows go from bleed to poison in case they're bleed immune
Not in case. Its a flat replacement. The best is with wiccan. If bleed immune he does rupture. So its an instead. So in most fights he still benefite from DW

12:13 I used Hawkeye for a silk boss back in the Crush tactic. 6R5A iirc, did spectacular with a little bit of AI manipulation. His power control is stupidly strong
After completing 9.1 beta I can say hawkeye with herc is very potent in fontolling fights and that slow is so useful
Gotta say he kicked a lot of ass in Karatemikes challenge
Nagase did wonders with him glad to see more of him. Definitely not the best but personally a fun champ for me
I would like him more if the slow down mechanic worked for me whenever I use him… for some reason it just doesn’t even though it does for Kate 🤔

I will say, like Ant-man, squarely what I call ‘frustrating buffs’. Also they’ve given Gamora, Maw multiple buffs.
They kinda gimped his power drain. They have locked different arrows behind synergies. Not passives.
Can lose all the dialed in on sp3. And even great players miss that.
Yes not every champ can be or should be Kate.
I just truly don’t understand buffs, NOT bad buffs, but Kabam knows not many will find the character AFTER that relevant or worthy of resources.
Note. I’m one of the few with a rank 2 OG Spidey. I love the character. And he’s fine with Shang Chi and Nightcrawler.
But I’d also never recommend it to an alliance mate or most folks.
My Kate is rarely banned. Think it’s because other person has a rank 5 ascended. I always draft her. She’s that great.
He will never be that. But, yeah, his buff, like Spidey’s was fine. But frustrating. Spidey the webbings need to stick longer.
I call them frustrating buffs and also stingy. They seem to be extra-ordinarily stingy on some buffs. The characters become kinda sorta ok to good. But no compelling reason for most to still invest time or resources into them.
Edit: got to the placement. I agree 100%. Good example of a ‘stingy’ buff. I’m truly confused by the work to these.
That after the buff most will leave on shelf still. Seems to contradict the prime motive of buffing in the first place 🤷🏻♂️
BUT. For a semi niche amount of players…the buff does have relevance. And when rank 2s are common, I might take up. But that means he won’t be used except for fun, since I’ll be using rank 3 for actual play most of the time.
Antman is so hard to play even undped and sometimes with full synergies. Unduped he, fixit and some other 7 stars are absolute garbage
@@truepotential206 yep. That parts fine. Nature of the game. No arguments against a good buff where sig still needed. Especially if just the awakening. Hawkeye gets almost all his benefits at sig 20. Kind of like Hyperion.
I’ve an sig 80 Hawkeye. Love the marvel character. But they gave a ‘stingy’ buff.
The designers are talented enough to know when they do this. Why they do it? 🤷🏻♂️
They had to know most people wouldn’t rank. Now Vega makes a point. For beginning accounts he can be great. Fair enough.
So why the heck was he in the initial 7 star pool? For Kabam to be ‘cruel’? Nasty to customers? 🤷🏻♂️
Bring back the war machine 0 damage synergy.
I mean that’s a 7* rank 2 Hawkeye. Nobody is taking him to rank 2. Great video and tips though. Always first rate.
Hot garbage, although i did appreciate him slightly more in the avenger carina challenge
