Mr. Martin- I will never forget how he APPROVED of your book Crisis in Truth. I had been a little nervous he might reject it because the author was "charismatic." (often misunderstood at that time) I have never forgotten the moment he held it in his hands to show us and said in Ukrainian, "This is a very..good..book!" It is a privilege to listen to you and I thank God that you have remained faithful through the decades! Last night I did not sleep much and listened to two Fr. Mark clips- to which I responded as well and Fr. Altman. The Holy Spirit is speaking. He who has ears must listen to what the Spirit is saying to the Churches! God bless both of you! And to end on a silly note, I just realized, Mr. Martin, has anyone ever said you could pass for an elf from Middle Earth? Elrond? Glorfindel? We are up against some nasty orcs right now. I will add, that in the Eastern rite the thinking is that "It is not good for man to be alone" so if a man wishes to be a celibate, better to be a monastic and be with his brothers, and if he wishes to be among the people, to have a wife. But only one. If something happens to me, he may not remarry; again, taking the words of Scripture seriously that the elder should have one wife.

When I encountered Jesus in a personal way in 2001 I was looking for someone to guide and direct me and since I didn't find anyone around my area I prayed to God for help. Since I loved to read I was used to visiting bookstores and on my next visit I came across Ralph Martin's book" Called to Holiness" and "Hungry for God" and through them God guided me beautifully, I'm always on a lookout for his books, I have seven of his books and am looking forward to reading "Church in Crisis", on its way via Amazon.God has used Mr.Martin as his powerful instrument to reach out to people like me as far as in distant lands of Goa, India. I’m an English Strict Baptist ie Protestant and presumably differ with you on many points of detail. However, you exalt the Lord Jesus as the one thing needful as revealed in Scripture, as I do, and I trust I can embrace you as a brother in the body of Christ.
But your deeds do not reflect that. Unwillingness to obey the headship of the Church Christ established does matter. Don’t forget that a similar such single disobedience by our first parents, viz, by trusting (instead of the source Adam) the misinterpretation of God’s words from an ‘outside source’ made us in our sorry state. Remember God established His church for properly retrieving us from this Kingdom of Hell back to His Kingdom of Heaven. There are no other ‘ways’ God established.
Hi Mark yes Fr Goring is an awesome Priest very pure and holy ! I do suggest however Fr Chris Alar from the Divine Mercy channel. He has a great series called Explaining the Faith. From combating sin to how and why we have Priesthood, how did it first start..Fr Alar is a very holy Priest. You might enjoy gaining knowledge through this series and strength in God like with Fr Goring. He has a great video on Hell to God bless !
Mr. Mark, I want to encourage you in your faith since it appears there are responses here which may leave you feeling unsure, vulnerable, or under attack. I'm as you, a protestant. I am secure in my faith because I discern the difference between what is essential for saving faith and what is not essential, and because I regularly 'test the spirits' against the Word of God. If you have repented from your sins, and have faith in Jesus Christ's sacrifice on the cross as the propitiation for your sins, then you have saving faith. The "church" is the body of believers, the 'ecclesia.' Being so, if you work out your salvation in fear and trembling, if you abide in Christ, then you by all means are a part of the body of Christ, the church. There have been seasons in my long life where 'going to church' was not possible (think poor health or other extreme circumstances). It's not necessarily the act of going to church which is where our focus should be. And, if you call yourself a member of this denomination or that is also not where our focus should be. Are you a follower of Jesus Christ, and do you minister where God puts you? This is the focus. In fact, some times I'll find myself in a this or that church denomination because it is where God leads. I'm His servant and if I find myself here today, then that's where He has put me for His reason. As the Apostle Paul said, we can be all things to all people for the sake of the gospel. And for me to live is Christ and die is gain. I pray you be encouraged.

Since he wrote it in the year 1049, it is clear that the pervasive homosexuality and sex scandal with our Church are far from new. The difference is how it was handled then as compared to now! Ms. Randy Engel is an investigative journalist - and a devout Catholic. She has written several books on the subject and a brief (about 20 pages) overview of St. Damian's work. Great interview 20 minutes in Father Mark expressing his love for scripture as all Catholics need to convert everyday a conversion of heart. During my second Catholic conversion I fell in love with the Eucharist. Jesus should always be our co pilot. Jesus is asking us everyday.. Who Do people say I am. Jesus again is asking us intimately... Who Do you say I am. Jesus is King of kings. Son of God. Redeemer and Savior.

Church Unity is important as Jesus has called Vassula Ryden in the 80s and her Apostolate is focused on Church Unity, Jesus really wants that. I have witnessed weeping statues and miraculous phenomena at a Prayer meeting in a private Gold Coast home, at this prayer meeting they promote Jesus's messages to Vassulas. A woman who used to attend the prayer meeting receives the wounds of Jesus The stigmata which I have witnessed
Pray for the Church! Pray for the clergy! Pray for the priests and let them know you ❤️ Christ. Help your local parish in any way and be prepared to sacrifice your time to help those in your parish know Him. We all have our part to play in the Body of Christ.
The destruction of statues and sacred places....and the absence of church hierarchy - publicly denouncing these terrible acts - is a major sign of the weakness in Church leadership. To ‘not rock the boat’ perpetuates more of the same - pray that we may hear the real gospel of Jesus Christ. Thank you both for your faith and courage to speak on these matters. 🙏
The Progressive liberal catholic church isn't the Roman Catholic Church ! They are a mouvement separate from the Church. They don't claim to be part of our Church. One of local churches in my area has a Black Lives Matter sign in the house that the priest lives in. I have complained but no one will listen. Very frustrating. The church is in a liberal town.

I will read a second time and this time take notes…it’s so rich and brilliantly connects the dots between what’s happening in the Church and the decay of the larger culture. When I encountered Jesus in a personal way in 2001 I was looking for someone to guide and direct me and since I didn't find anyone around my area I prayed to God for help. Since I loved to read I was used to visiting bookstores and on my next visit I came across Ralph Martin's book" Called to Holiness" and "Hungry for God" and through them God guided me beautifully, I'm always on a lookout for his books, I have seven of his books and am looking forward to reading "Church in Crisis", on its way via Amazon.God has used Mr.Martin as his powerful instrument to reach out to people like me as far as in distant lands of Goa, India. May God be Praised for His mighty deeds. Thank You Fr.Mark, Thank You Mr.Ralph Martin.

I’m an English Strict Baptist ie Protestant and presumably differ with you on many points of detail. However, you exalt the Lord Jesus as the one thing needful as revealed in Scripture, as I do, and I trust I can embrace you as a brother in the body of Christ.
But your deeds do not reflect that.
Unwillingness to obey the headship of the Church Christ established does matter. Don’t forget that a similar such single disobedience by our first parents, viz, by trusting (instead of the source Adam) the misinterpretation of God’s words from an ‘outside source’ made us in our sorry state. Remember God established His church for properly retrieving us from this Kingdom of Hell back to His Kingdom of Heaven. There are no other ‘ways’ God established.

Hi Mark yes Fr Goring is an awesome Priest very pure and holy ! I do suggest however Fr Chris Alar from the Divine Mercy channel. He has a great series called Explaining the Faith. From combating sin to how and why we have Priesthood, how did it first start..Fr Alar is a very holy Priest. You might enjoy gaining knowledge through this series and strength in God like with Fr Goring. He has a great video on Hell to God bless !
Mr. Mark, I want to encourage you in your faith since it appears there are responses here which may leave you feeling unsure, vulnerable, or under attack. I'm as you, a protestant. I am secure in my faith because I discern the difference between what is essential for saving faith and what is not essential, and because I regularly 'test the spirits' against the Word of God. If you have repented from your sins, and have faith in Jesus Christ's sacrifice on the cross as the propitiation for your sins, then you have saving faith. The "church" is the body of believers, the 'ecclesia.' Being so, if you work out your salvation in fear and trembling, if you abide in Christ, then you by all means are a part of the body of Christ, the church. There have been seasons in my long life where 'going to church' was not possible (think poor health or other extreme circumstances). It's not necessarily the act of going to church which is where our focus should be. And, if you call yourself a member of this denomination or that is also not where our focus should be. Are you a follower of Jesus Christ, and do you minister where God puts you? This is the focus. In fact, some times I'll find myself in a this or that church denomination because it is where God leads. I'm His servant and if I find myself here today, then that's where He has put me for His reason. As the Apostle Paul said, we can be all things to all people for the sake of the gospel. And for me to live is Christ and die is gain. I pray you be encouraged.

Since he wrote it in the year 1049, it is clear that the pervasive homosexuality and sex scandal with our Church are far from new. The difference is how it was handled then as compared to now! I have sent copies of this to a number of clergy and our diocesan bishop. I would love to see a movement where EVERY bishop gets a copy so none could ever say that they were "unaware." I know that any who say this are blatant liars as the good Benedictine monk Damian is studied in the seminary.

Church Unity is important as Jesus has called Vassula Ryden in the 80s and her Apostolate is focused on Church Unity, Jesus really wants that.
I have witnessed weeping statues and miraculous phenomena at a Prayer meeting in a private Gold Coast home, at this prayer meeting they promote Jesus's messages to Vassulas. A woman who used to attend the prayer meeting receives the wounds of Jesus The stigmata which I have witnessed

The destruction of statues and sacred places....and the absence of church hierarchy - publicly denouncing these terrible acts - is a major sign of the weakness in Church leadership. The Progressive liberal catholic church isn't the Roman Catholic Church ! They are a mouvement separate from the Church. They don't claim to be part of our Church. Pope Francis isn't as liberal as they make him look the Pope Francis I listen to is very conservative ! Comments made 10 yrs ago ,snippets , words taken out of context abound . Fake news and reality are 2 things.
One of local churches in my area has a Black Lives Matter sign in the house that the priest lives in. I have complained but no one will listen. Very frustrating. The church is in a liberal town.

Several months ago, I listened to the first five or so minutes of this. Sometime later, I ordered the book and have just about finished it. I will read a second time and this time take notes…it’s so rich and brilliantly connects the dots between what’s happening in the Church and the decay of the larger culture. Ralph published his book before Francis’ divisive motu propio, but I can see how prophetic A Crisis in the Church really is. God bless you, Dr. Martin, and Father Goring for your pastoral care!!!

We need more and more people to speak out in charity, the Truth of our Faith and not to fear. This fear is not of God.
