Gescom/Autechre - The Complete Key Nell (1996, Both Full EPs)

On the 6th of June 1996, Autechre released the four track Key Nell 12" under their Gescom monkier on Skam Records (SKA007). A few months later, on the 25th of November 1996, they released a remix 12" simply called Keynell/Keynell on Warp Records (WAP 88). These six highly underrated tracks are the missing link between Tri Repetae (1995) and Chiastic Slide (1996).

@@joss_ananascocos Yeah, it does. It also reminds me of Cichli by Autechre. It fits in with that era, with Cichli and Cichli Suite (it was made around same time). The sound textures are similar to Chiastic Slide (sampler crunch etc) but they are still a bit different, more warm / soft while still mechanical / gritty. Sort of overlap with The Orb like you said, or even Boards of Canada. Just something special about this particular song imo.
