Those trinkets simply don't work. The bottle manufacturers produce caps with perfect seal and grooves. The gimmick products in theory could work but they never make a proper seal which requires precise per bottle manufactured plastic to seal, and hence it's worse than usual the original cap. Likely they design it so it work on a specific bottle type but it isn't universal

Search "partial pressure" and "carbonation volume chart" for details but the short version is that the tiny amount of CO2 that they could possibly add would have a negligible impact on the partial pressure of CO2 in the headspace. A note: a more useful test would have been to "drink" (or pour out) an equal amount from each bottle at the beginning of the test. The whole point is that you're supposed to be able to consume a portion and reserve the remainder for a later date. As for the numbers, I can't imagine any other reason to have 1-31 but can think of other uses than just the date.

Stopping at 12:35 to say when you cant get under the tab, you simply push or turn it 90° so it's over the mouth peice. The slight bulge from carbonation will alow it to lift enough to get a finger under it. Once under it, give it a slight bend and return to normal opening position and continue to open the can. Tested and been using this method by yours truly, for decades drinking beer. Your welcome. And tyler put it to the test....you'll see.

You looked like you are in desperate need of a Pro Tip in opening Bier/soda cans :D I dont know If we got the exact same soda cans here in EU, but at least they look very similar. We can Open our cans without using our Fingers. You can Stack two cans ontop of each other and tilt the upper can in the direction of the bottom cans pulltab, with downwards pressure. 12:22 if you push down on the center of the can (where tab is mounted) it’ll raise the end of the tab up and you can open can easier! I do it religiously

At 12:30 try this push your thumb down on the tab at the middle of the can, and it will lift the tab just enough to get your finger under it!! I figured it out in school because i use to bite my nails and i never could get it. So i started using that method. 🤙👍✌️
If you can't get your finger under the soda tab, press down on the part you drink from with your thumb, then use your finger on the tab. That lifts it up slightly so you can get a grip on the tab.

To open a soda easily, push down on the little circle part in the middle of the can, and the top will elevate up. Easy to pop open.
