SITUATION UPDATE:
The situation regarding the content theft has been resolved between @PlasuMinasu and @Rockettor. This is a great step towards a positive direction because now we can enjoy Bilibili content with more transparency. I'm glad that the situation was resolved in a quick and mature manner and we don't have to drag this issue further. Let's hope that this transparency remains for the foreseeable future.

@@Viruks. Rokettor agreed to remove videos that they don't have permission to upload. Rokettor also has been verified by another creator that they are not monetized.
There is also a spreadsheet that keeps track of the OG videos on Bilibli with the OG creator's channel

Credit the artists and get their permission, which should already be common sense, but many people just don't care as long as it benefits them

You'd need several kilotons of lawsuit in the form of WMDs for the root cause,and that has only really worked once.
This is an L for global tbh, why CN artists/CCs would even fit in your issue of feeling down because their content isnt being watched? AK is huge in China compared to Global, they can easily reach the double the amount of views a yt channel can get. Calling thieves to a bunch of guys that share the same passion and have the ability to speak chinese and translate it to global isnt that bad since these guys were trying to fill up the space with the content global lacks and also made global people realize how is AK perceived in china (or at least that was my case) I also believe that is the case for china, some guy in global with access to bilibili makes chinese people realize how is the situation here by reuploading a yt video to bilibili (A lot of dramas in global are known to china like this)
And even if Yang has access to SOME CCs and artists from bilibili its not the whole thing
I may sound as If I'm defending them, but what this community in global needs is anything but another "drama" involving ccs, since the community is slowly getting desintegrated by this kind of behaviour however the only thing I'd say these guys did wrong was monetize the videos if its a hobby and it involves "stealing" content you shouldnt do that and let it be free

I said it on plusminus's video and I will repeat it here, that plan to mass "not reccomand this chanel" is as naive and stupid as trying to stop a war by asking both side to be nice to each other...
Peoples who consume content on the internet don't give a fuck about where it come from, they want cool animations, they watch cool animations, nobody care that it's stolen and we find it immoral, even if the EN community start producing a lots more AK content they won't stop consuming the stolen one...
As I said on Plusminus's video the only way to combat the thief is by beating them at their own game, have as many CN CCs as possible make an alience and peoples on our side upload their videos for them on a regrouped channel so it's available for the global comunity and will properly credit them, so the tiefs can't benefit out of having it exclusively, then copyright strike them to oblivion if they try to steal it anyway.
And you might think it's not an easy plan to organize, but trust me, it's far easier than trying to convince hundreds of thousands of peoples to give a fuck about your moral values...

Movie reaction are either unmonetizeable or the earning goes straight to the copyright holder, while reacting to content creator video can be monetized

Yes,because that pulls in more people who can then watch other content creators because that's how the algorithm works,using the "don't recommend" feature will only serve to hamper other AK creators.

This is the simple truth,and I've seen it in action quite easily with my own eyes,so you even you can test it.
In case you're wondering,I've been doing that on my recommanded feed everytime another VTuber or VTuber clip shows up,and it has kept my feed cleared of them,but as soon as I watch one VTuber vids,my feed gets more of them,all this is through the "don't recommend" feature.

If morals existed online,then why aren't you using your full legal name and face?,why are people actively told not to share personal details to people online?,because there's thousdands upon thousands of people who will actively harm you,morals do not exist online.
Everyday,everyday second even,someone is downloading something without ever asking the creator,license holders,and/or the publisher,be it for a school project,a meme,or just an image for a wallpaper,permission is not asked,and very easily money can be made from these assets,morals do not exist online.
Wanna know something fun?,a lot of these reuploads get hit with RUclipss' questionable and ureliable copyright detection system for music,and as abused as the system is,there is in fact music being used from copyrighted sources,which is done by the Bilibili creators,of whom the majority live in mainland China,who clearly have no method to contact the originals,but did that stop them?,morals do not exist online.
You'll only delude yourself if you think that morals online will work,since that would only leave you in the dust and vulnerable.
The only solution is for the CCP to become democratic and for the majority of CN peeps to upload to RUclips,and then watch as they get hit by the same copyrights and decide to dampen their own creativity.
As for the usage of "theft",as stated earlier,you're not fixing anything since it's already ingrained,but the aspect above that is the fact that this is digital,the 1s and 0s that have been Ctrl + C and Ctrl + V creates a near perfect copy of the original,and the original stays where it is,this isn't some physical object being effected due to its' limted number,it's a bunch of electrons that is only limited by the number of memory holding devices on this planet.
The views from RUclips are not views that would've translated to Bilibili,if the video was never uploaded to RUclips,majority of the viewership would've just moved to another RUclips video,majority don't even speak Chinese to begin with,since they came for the new video that caught their eye and STAYED for the subtittles that explained what was going on.
They can even make comments because they can easily make a RUclips account without having to upload their national ID,unlike Bilibili.
So,what happens if you get rid of the reuploaders?,well,as TakDes found out,after three of them were gone,a wave of AK content creators stopped making AK content,because the viewership dropped,and despite his best efforts,TakDes did not fulfill his end of ensuring we'd get the uploads en masse,and eventually his own channel had issues.
The one actually functional effort is the handful of Taiwanese Bilibili creators who migrated to RUclips or even upload to both sites,but that won't solve the root issues,that circumvents them.
This situation has not changed at all in the past five years,and won't even change due to the entrenched nature of RUclips,Bilibili,the CCP,and commercial internet itself,and we haven't even touched the dark and deep webs.
A tangent would be piracy,whose primary reason for existing is to provide access conveniently,and adding subtitles to videos before sharing them on a wider platform is the convinience level that fae exceeds any claims about being "the better man".
It's very hypocritical to think that you will be able to do anything about this whole mess when you yourself are just another cog in it,and you'll only be screwing yourself over thinking that you're better.
