Guitar Rig TOTALLY and COMPLETELY changed my guitar playing. Took me from a meh player to, if I may say so myself, not a bad little player! I never used to play electric/lead guitar til I got GR, and now it is what I practice most. If you have an electric guitar and PC, seriously, do yourself a favour, and get a copy of GR - it will honestly change your guitar playing and take it to a totally new level, trust me. Nope, I am not working for NI, this is my genuine, honest, unbiased opinion.
Thanks for the video mate, interesting video - from another UK player...... :o)

Guitar rig is perfect for writing songs. You can plug in your guitar open your DAW and get writing without having to worry about mic placement and all that stuff that wastes time. And the great thing is you have the original guitars tones recorded in a pure format so changing the sound after (or even re-amping once the song is finished) is so much easier.

Many useful points,it sounds a lot better.... gtr rig 3 sounded shite I thought, but GR5 is so much better ...it actually rocks....its taken 10 years to get there, can't wait to see what's in the pipe line, the tech's just getting good

Excellent overview. I tried a few other rig modeling programs and really liked this over the others. Such amazing variety. All the gear I have owned and used over the years in one place, very cool. Although, I do sometimes miss the hands on aspect of gear in this digital age, fiddling with pedals and cables and such. Nice work. :)

Hi Nelly just wanted to add that there are components in your guitar rig that are additional extras. The rammfire, traktors12 and reflektor are all add ons that'll set you back well over £100 if you want them. I have rammfire which is based on Richard Kruspe's modified Mesa Boogie dual rectifier.
Would you recommend traktors12? I've been toying with the idea of getting it.

While they're decent, they sound nothing like the real deal. Exactly like an AC30? No.
A Kemper is so so close, but even that's not exact.
I don't get this video, Guitar Rig has been out for ages, there are countless reviews on this product. Show us playing it, not talking about it.
