I would like to point out that Asha was brought up speaking Cantonese dialect of the Chinese language, so technically speaking, MuLan = MokLam. I am not saying that Asha is wrong, but Chinese is a hard language to learn no matter what dialect you choose... Just view China as a mini-United Nation of sorts.
Disney had just translate it from Mandarin, so it's 木蘭(Mu4 Lan2), which is different to Cantonese 花木蘭(Fa1 Mook9 Laan4). It's alright Pete can't get it instantly, because Disney usually translate the Chinese characters' name in English from Mandarin instead of Cantonese. A lot of words from Chinese is translated form Mandarin, except something only appears in HK, it would translate the word from Cantonese, like dim sum, cha siu etc. ps and the word "Ramen" I think is translate form Japanese, and 拉麵 (La1 Mien4 - Mandarin) (Lai1 Meen3 - Cantonese)

i think it should be "索(sok)" for 索克天王，"札" is pronounced as "zaat"
I blame Google!! I searched for Zurgs name in Chinese and it came up with 札. I should have questioned it more
