The Age of Triumph update has made it so that you can't do it flawless anymore. Still soloable, but a LOT harder / more complicated. The bridge section in particular, and Crota as well. So yeah, unfortunately, you'll need a team to complete the raid for the Necro. 😐 Sorry.

Pretty good dude, I watched parts of all your Crotas I am doing my 3rd Flawless today maybe, normal mode, hunter, and Titan done, but heroic on all 3 is on the menu, you a year 1 player like me ? I use to live in this raid trying to solo back then light lvl 32 when crota dlc dropped, lol, i was going to do red death for heroic as well. some use suros but not nearly as good as death..any health related gear is good idea, like nemesis, titan bubble, hunter melee stuff orbs and health, heroic crota im referring to so..lol, good stuff dude, good guide

I NEVER ran the sword back then in whatever group I was in, because that stuff was way too stressful, haha. Red Death was big then, as well as the raid helmets that let you recover health from orbs, so everybody would wait and use supers on those knights to create a bunch of orbs for the group. Nowadays we all solo this thing, and some people did then too, but man, this used to be a frustrating raid on hard mode.

I have problem at Bridge part. Everytime I kill the first gatekeeper and die, I just respawn (with selfress) at the end of the bridge, not in the first part where you get the sword. Any guesses?
Yeah, you might be going too far forward after crossing. You have to stay right at the beginning part of the bridge and let the gatekeepers come to you. Follow Esoterickk's vid here: ruclips.net/video/OXDEx2p6BiE/видео.html Go by that, and you should be okay.
Thank you! And yes, you are correct on the light advantage. It hurts you if you're below the recommended level for a given raid, but there's nothing to be gained by being at 400 light for this one.
I'm trying to practice the shrieker part on normal for flawless but when I throw a solar grenade to the shriekers they don't die because of the grenade, I have to go back and shoot them
Have you got the Sunbreakers gloves on during that part? Those increase the duration of the solar grenade, which should be long enough to take out the shrieker.
The bridge jump can be tough, and I just posted a new video today showing off an alternate method where you don't have to cross the bridge gap completely, if you want another way to do it: ruclips.net/video/MCz28IKlqno/видео.html As for the shriekers, it depends on whether you're doing this on Heroic mode (like this video), or on Normal. If you're trying to do it flawless, I recommend doing it on Normal. And on Normal, you can kill the shrieker, then back out the hallway completely to avoid the blast. Then go back in, take down the second one, and back out of the room again. That way, there's a lot less risk involved.
I don't remember, to be honest, but I did increase my agility a little bit for faster mobility. Just as a heads up though, this is an outdated Crota run. Once Age of Triumph lauched, the bridge section changed and you can no longer solo it as easy. You now have to activate a bunch of statues which requires you jumping back and forth, potentially dying along the way. If you're looking for a Flawless Raider completion, you'll probably need to find a good group and do it that way.

The swordbearer? Yeah, he won't stay in one spot. That's why I try to take him out once the door opens and he shows his face. After that, if you move towards him and just shoot him a few times with a primary, he should follow you back to wherever you want. If you're using a Gally, it should take one rocket and maybe a grenade to take him down, I would think.
Not that I'm aware of. I did it a month ago for the video, so it should still work. The only thing I can think of is you weren't directly over where the bridge would be at the halfway point. If you're not, that will kill you outright. Maybe try a few practice runs to get it down perfectly, but then it should be fine. Good luck, and Merry Xmas.

Haha, I'm sure you're over-leveled, so it may just take some practice. I did plenty of solo runs before I ever even attempted to do a flawless run. Once you get each section of the raid down and know what has to be done, it's going to feel a lot easier, trust me.
HurleyEffect ok cause i was like how does he make it look so easy. i end up getting ganged on by the throlls by third light i reach. the one time i made it to the bridge i get blown up by a throll...i never used so much profanity in my life. lol
Yeah, those can be the tough parts. Thrall are always a pain. There's some luck involved, but once you practice and get the timing of everything, you should be fine. 👍🏻

Good question! I don't think I changed it at all from my usual, so I'm thinking it's just Balanced Glide and a little bit more agility.

You can cheese the lamps on the second lamp. It's tough to get down but it's possible. I did it just the other day
