Flying Past the Wreck of the König

  • Built in Wilhelmshaven and launched on 1 March 1913, the König was scuttled at 1400 on 21 June 1919 in the Scapa Flow off the coast of Scotland.
    Displacing 25,390 tons and capable of 21-23 kts, the König was armoured with 14" steel plate, and armed with ten 12" guns in five turrets, one amidships.

    incredible to see this, wish they could map the whole seafloor in this detail, would take some amount of time and money, but would be incredible to see the results...

      From what I understand and from the research I have been able to find. The costs would be in the billions. But for what we get in exchange your right it be worth every penny.
