I was at 12mm and having a hard time getting to my next size. I thought I was at 13mm and just couldn’t get in a 14 but when I had a piecer look at the plugs they were only 12. This same “professional” piercer out in Phoenix talked me into stretching with silicone. He actually stretched them himself to a 14mm with big black silicone tunnels. They were beautiful and I was so happy. I bet you can imagine how bad of a blowout I had. Had to start back at 10 gauge after taking the jewelry out until the scabs healed. I thought I’d of had the nastiest scar tissue of a life time. Surprisingly I actually was able to breeze through stretching until about a 0 gauge. I have always been someone who takes months and months to heal but how frustrating. Could’ve just been smart and still had beautiful healthy big ears. Please, do your own research and do not let any professionals do anything to your stretched ears you would not do yourself.

I was definitely that dumb kid that stretched unsafely, and I somehow made it to over an inch! But unfortunately when I was sleeping one of them ripped and it took some time to heal, so I've had them out ever since then, but I have missed them so much! So I am super thankful for your videos, this was beyond helpful for me!

This is great! Was formerly at 1/2", can confirm the stretching process this time around has been SO different. I was able to start pretty much at 4g and just went up that way, really didn't have to slow down at all until recently (I'm at 11mm now). It really would just be a couple days a size, sometimes just one (especially early on). Now I find I really have to not wear plugs 24/7 because my ears seem to stretch much more quickly than I anticipated and I don't want to get to 1/2" right away, I want to savor the journey! Happy re-stretching to all! 🙂

This happened to me! Once I hit past my previous size, which was 4g, my ears started stretching at a normal pace again, because my ears had never gone past that size before. Now at 20mm and using your size maintaining guide to sleep without plugs eventually!

I’m currently restretching and it’s going crazy fast! I’m glad i kept everything, have everything up to a 1g in half sizes and am being disciplined with waiting. So far I’m sizing up around every five days but I expect it will slow down soon.
I loved my stretched ears but I got really sick and couldn’t keep up with cleaning.

This video real came at the perfect time. Stretching back up from a previous 5/8 and it’s going great so far. Already ready for a 0. And I’m looking at ordering more SFG plugs and wanting to skip sizes because JUST ONE right haha I’ll go slow now. One size at a time! I’ve used your video for septum stretching also. Definitely listening to ever bit of advice!

I randomly stumbled upon your channel and I'm so glad. You're very informative and a pleasure to listen to!
I have been at 1 inch (25-26mm) for years, then didn't wear any jewelry for almost a year.
I restarted at 18mm and started to stretch back up with a current goal size of 30mm.
Problem is my lobes don't seem to want to go further than 24mm (been at this size for almost 4 months now).
I don't wear plugs at night, i oil and massage twice a day, i sometimes try to wear weights inside tunnels to keep the weight consistent etc... No success on stretching further.
I used to love stretching with single flared glass plugs but now there's no way to find some in Europe at these sizes. Ordering outside EU (even from uk) is not only super expenive now but chances are that packages will be lost during custom controls at the border. So my only good option is steel.
I hope it will be a matter of time and my lobes will love to loosen up again.
If you have any tips for this situation, it'd be super appreciated.
    Again, thanks for your dedication!

Southshore adornments has safe glass and delrin in single flare mm increments and is UK based. If you are wearing steel eyelets I would bet that a solid delrin or glass plug will be exactly what you need.

I've definietly done all the things named in this video (yeah yikes) was at 5/8" now down to 2g but love it! I've thought about stretching them again but honestly I'm fine where I am, I would love to know about cartilage stretching like going up from 18g-16g but I do not understand how people stretch cartilage so large

Hey Lynn! I’ve been thinking a lot about beginning to stretch my ears lately and your videos along with other resources have been a big help. Honestly it was the beautiful weights and stone pieces you can get that swayed me. The only thing I’m confused on is measuring that comes along with buying high quality pieces from places like stonewolf here in the UK. I know my MM measurements though I don’t quite understand how the Flare Sizes or Wearable Lengths work and if you have any resources on it, it would be really appreciated!

I ended up stretching one of my ears to a 20mm and I've noticed what I thought was a blowout aka an old blowout from a long time ago that just pushed the excess scar tissue out the back and that ended up scaring me enough to take it out and go down a couple sizes I was wondering why it stretched so much faster than the other ear and now I know why

Here's a scenario. I had my ears damaged at a show. I had to get them surgically repaired, and I started restretching later that year. My ears were at 5/8 of and inch at the biggest. My question is how big "could" I go? Have you seen this before?

    • @Lynn_Loheide

I have seen this before! Honestly I couldn’t say how big you might be able to go without an in person consultation.

this video couldnt have come sooner! ive been having problems re-stretching my ears for months now and i dont know how to go about it- my ears will get super loose, plugs falling out, the whole shebang. i pop the next size in; great! feels comfy, even has extra room. then BAM! next morning my ears have torn and i have to restart all over again. what can i do to help this? i havent been skipping any sizes and not forcing anything :(

    • @Lynn_Loheide
      @Lynn_Loheide  Год назад

Are you sleeping with plugs in? If everything else it going correctly your ears may be so loose that if you sleep with these in and knock them out in your sleep you cause damage. You may need to work with a piercer to determine some workarounds

@@Lynn_Loheide i do usually sleep with plugs in but i am stuck in my ways of "if i dont, my ears will shrink!" haha. ill try it out next time and if im still having trouble ill seek out a piercer near me to help me out. thanks for the tip!

I’m restretching my ears and since last Wednesday I’ve gone from 00 to 5/8 in a week and is it normal? Because I pop them in and then the next day or 2 they’re loose and don’t hurt and I can fully spin them. Whenever I pop a new bigger size they hurt for maybe 20-30 minutes then goes away. I was at an inch in July or August 2023 and it’s now endish of may 2024.

I'd recently gotten to my goal of 00g and it was good for a little bit but they suddenly became painful so i downsized im now having to wait until they're ready again to be fair i did rush the stretch from 9mm to 10mm because from my intial large gauge piercing and stretch of 6mm heald in record time and all the stretches between 6mm all the way to 8mm were done very slow using the dead stretch method only moving up after the rest period after each stretch even the tretch from 9mm to 10mm was only a little stuborn at first i showered and oiled my ears and no problem trying the next day ive been at my goal size since may so not sure whats happening and was wondering if you had some answers?
