- These piercings and the ways they can empower and heal hold such a special place in my heart. Both professionally for what I get to experience and offer clients, and personally from what these piercings have done to me. I am so honored and humbled to be able to share this with folks, and to be trusted to do these piercings. I hope this video helps inspire and affirm those of you watching.

love your channel and your work! also, completely unrelated to the subject, i love how your videos have those natural pauses in them. a lot of folks on youtube do those jump cuts and get rid of that natural silence, but it’s so nice to have this little bit of downtime
I feel like those pauses are a big part of how I naturally talk and express things? When I edit those out it doesn’t feel like….me hahaha. If that makes sense!
I love content like this! Learning about gender affirming genital piercings has literally changed the outlook of my transition and how I think about my body. Thanks so much for taking the time to share!
This video as someone who is going to be a piercing apprentice soon is so useful, thank you!
I adore the way you talk about gender affirmation in the way of piercings, my girlfriend and I are both trans (I'm transmasc/genderqueer and she's transfemme) and the first time she came up to visit I took her to get her ears pierced. It was so wonderful to be the person to set up the appointment and take her and see her go through this rite of passage.
I got my ears pierced when I turned 8 or 9 and it was so exciting then. When I realized I was trans I decided to start stretching my ears bc I just couldn't find earrings that made me feel the way I wanted to but I didn't want to retire my piercings. About 2 years ago I got my nipples pierced bc at the time I was just like "they're hot" but now I realize I like them bc they draw away from the shape of them and (to me) make them appear flatter.
Piercings and tattoos are an amazing way to take control of your body and appearance, and I absolutely love the passion you have discussing trans peoples unique relationship with piercings.
I always love how compassionate and informative your video's are about these things 💜 thank you for making the content that you do!
Literally could not have clicked that notification faster 🏳️⚧️🤗🍆💍
I love you. 💖🥰 you are featured so heavily in this!
Lobes were very affirming and septum as well. The PA has been the most affirming one for me though. No where near as painful as I was expecting and healed really quick too.
your eyeliner with your hair is so stunning! and i'm really glad to see a video about genital piercings for non-cis people! i can't wait to get a genital piercing once i can transition
lynn you are amazing thank you for making content like this ❤️ have you ever thought about starting a podcast?
Loving the new intro! Your editing is getting so good btw ❤️❤️
ive been wondering if i should get a genital piercing (i recently got top surgery and now im in the mood for more body mods) and i think this video convinced me! great to hear about this subject from someone with lots of experience
I’m getting my first piercing bellow the belt on the 1st; a vch. I’m excited but also extremely nervous. I’m a pretty introverted and private person so the prospect of getting it done is daunting. I’ve wanted the vch and a triangle for over a decade now. I think (hope) I’m finally mentally ready!
What about genital piercings for trans and non-binary clients that are post bottom surgery?
That is going to be a different video since there’s a lot of different info!
such a great video well informed well spoken thank u for sharing
Hi love your channel 💕 I've had a P.A picering for about a year, last Saturday I had an additional reverse prince Albert I love it so much especially that I now have to sit to pee and I feel more feminine as a result 😊
Hey! thank you for this video, i love all of your content on piercings for trans people so much! Could you share what size range (preferably in mm) these larger labia hoops are that you did with a trans masc client? I got 2 outer labia piercings just 2 months ago so i mine are the standard healing size right now but I'm thinking of going bigger once they are healed. Since my piercer would have to specifically order larger rings if i want them it would be helpful to know approximately what size i might want:)
So that sizing is very very very much going to depend on your anatomy, body, and personal preferences. I’ve had clients find 12mm did this for them, I’ve had clients for whom that size would be way to small. I’ve had clients find 16mm was great! For others this would be way to large to be practical.
We don’t have standard sized bodies so there’s no standard healing size. Your piercer should be able to assess your anatomy and discuss what different sizes may feel like and work for you and go from there. And, honestly, you may end up needing to buy a few pairs and experiment with what works for you.
Hi Lynn, I'm seeing this video two years late so unsure if you will see this but I was wondering if you had any knowledge about genital piercings affecting bottom surgery later on. I am a trans woman who has wanted an apadravya for a long time but in more seriously thinking about surgery (which is years off for me), I was unsure if finally getting the piercing would potentially complicate things. Thank you for this video!
Everything you said about ear piercing being a rite of passage for femininity was exactly my experience. I tried to retire my lobes for this reason but they wouldn't close after several years, so I started stretching them and now they are symbolic of my transition.
I've also considered getting large triangle and labia piercings for a similar reason as you mentioned. I don't suppose you'll be guesting in the UK any time soon?
Thanks for this! Very informative
This was wonderful!
This is so wonderful!!
Hey lynn can you please make a video on how or what you can do to keep clients calm when getting a piercing? The other day I had a client who was freaking out & no matter how much I tried to talk her through the piercing and no matter how I tried to convince her that she was in safe hands and to please stay still, she kept flinching and moving, and during the piercing she like screamed while getting it done. I felt terrible cause I tried my best 🥺 I’d really appreciate it I love your videos
Hi Lynn! Do folks on T need to wait any amount of time to get inner labia piercings? They don't seem to be changing with bottom growth and I've been low dose for 8 months so far. I want to temper my excitement about booking a consult with you if that's too soon based on your understanding!
I usually suggest 1 year in HRT before genital piercings!
@@Lynn_Loheide ~cries~ okaaaay. Thank you so much, I am excited to book with you for other ideas, too!
I love hearing about the trans masc experience. I just got my triangle done and kind of want to get more genital piercings. Possibly a PA bc I have always wanted the sensation of having balls since i was a child.
hello again!! do you have any more sources for education on genital piercings for future piercers that aren't elayne angel? i just discovered her inappropriate behavior and blatant transphobia from 2014 regarding her ex husband buck angel. im extremely disappointed and want to be able to specialize in genital piercings without supporting her
Yea got, it 😂
