Great band with a lead guitarist who knows how to lay down some tasty licks. The guitar solo on "Whatcha Gonna Do" is a gem.

One of the best memories I have as a kid was when my mom brought home this brand new album called Worlds Away. Even though I was only 6 at the time, I knew these were the guys who did “Whatcha Gonna Do?” from the year before (1977). Anyway, I remember my mom playing that album, Gerry Rafferty’s “City to City” and Billy Joel’s “The Stranger” constantly and I would just sit on the carpet in front of the speakers, reading the album covers and just getting lost in the music. 46 years later, I’m playing these same albums on my own record player in my house. The sound track to my childhood was indeed a glorious one.

Speaking as a musician, I've played their hits in various bands, love Yacht Rock, and ironically, will be playing with a Doobie Brothers tribute band (The Doobie Others) on that SAME Rock & Romance Cruise in March that Pablo will be on! Hope to get to meet these guys. Keep on goin' guys!!! 🙂💖🤘
