Edit this and make it Hello there
Hello there!
@@manwithanidea General Kenobi!
You should totally do Legion! It’s very aesthetic ;)
You should make one of these for the Clone Wars, Bad Batch, and Rebels series too. Maybe games too like Fallen Order and Battlefront 2
No vitriol. No division. Just a wholesome appreciation for the franchise's cinematography, no matter the trilogy. Absolutely stunning.
Great description of the video. To bad it doesn't also apply to the comment section.
This franchise provides some of the all time best shots in movies
anything from the sequel films looks like dog shit.
Yes and no
The original and prequel tirologies broke grounds with some of it's shots, but frankly the newer ones can't shine a light to shots like the beach shot in Rome (I think that's what it's called in English?) or some of Trakovski's works
@@notjaller The new films have the best shots in Star Wars, especially The Last Jedi.
@@notjaller the sequels also have great shots
@@notjaller The Sequels are a lot better looking that the prequels and maybe even better than the OT
I've counted:
38 shots from the Prequel Trilogy
23 shots from the Original Trilogy
64 shots from the Sequel Trilogy
10 shots from Solo
27 shots from Rogue One
15 shots from The Mandalorian
8 shots from The Book Of Boba Fett
To be fair the sequel trilogy looked hella good
@@XY-km8ds Yeah the music and visuals are really good, the story, not so much IMO
@@LukasSkywalker that's not an opinion that's a fact mate
@@356z I mean as much as it feels that way for you and I, there are still many people who love those movies.
@@LukasSkywalker true
the empire strikes back scene between luke & vader had been one of my fav movie moments my whole life.
Same, it’s one of the most iconic as well
Literally, the best movie of Star Wars
Mine is from ROTJ, such an epic and poetic duel✨
I know the feeling. Every time I see that scene where Obi Wan and Anakin collide with each other as the lava explodes behind them, goosebumps every time.
Same! Empire is the best!
Star Wars is a futuristic medieval fantasy
All of Rogue One is just so goddamn beautiful
It’s a masterpiece
Greig Fraser is the best
Yep, greg fraser is awesome!
Hell Ya👍
It really is
In a strange way, this is probably the best "Star War Tribute" I've ever seen. I mean, I love people editing dialog and scenes together to encapsulate what Star Wars is in 8 minutes or whatever. But honestly, just seeing all the greatest shots from a collective 67 years of storytelling, coupled with some of the best music in cinema... it just hits different. It's really what it's all about (I'm already choking up)
Couldn't have said it better myself
Fuck you are right
I was thinking the exact same
this and SWFT's Darth Vader tribute are definitely my favorites
I love how all different eras of Star Wars have beautiful cinematography in their own unique way.
The Original Trilogy showcases the beauty of practical filmmaking, letting us see how beautiful and realistic a great filmmaker can make practical sets to be, showing the great passion they have for their work with all these large and great-looking sets.
The Prequel Trilogy showcases the beauty of early day CGI, which was revolutionary and although not fully developed yet and not necessarily aiming for complete realism, gave the feeling of a mythological painting when we see all these unique worlds, complementing the great sense of wonder in Star Wars.
The Sequel Trilogy showcases the beauty of modern filmmaking, with a nice blend of practical and computer effects, showing how far we've gone in filmmaking.
The Disney+ spinoffs showcases the beauty of future filmmaking, with the revolutionary technology of virtual LED sets being utilised instead of a green screen, blending the good things about practical and CGI effects, both perfecting computer effects from the early days of the prequels while also having a greater sense of realism, making us excited for the future of this technology.
And The Clone Wars, Rebels and The Bad Batch have showcased the beauty of the animated photography. Honestly, the work they have been doing is marvelous.
i rarely like comments but this is such a profound and true statement about star wars’ progression with cgi and how it’ll always be the king of effects in cinema
@@notluke2410 No I'm not. I don't hate them at all, I don't like them either, what I'm saying is that they didn't improve on any kind of visual technology, unlike the previous trilogies.
@@GreenFalcon926 they don't invente new technology because we have come so far that a lot of cgi looks realistic, however it does combine use of pratical and cgi, while originals used mainly pratical and prequels mainly cgi the sequels did a combination of both, they learned from the pros and cons from both and combined them brilliantly.
That comment is truly appreciated
The OT will always hold a special place in my heart, but all of Star Wars means so much to me. What a story.
Same
I couldn’t agree more!
The original trilogy: Very good
The prequels trilogy: More or less
The sequels: The worst
The mandalorian: Masterpiece
The book of boba Fett: more or less
Obi Wan Kenobi: ...
Sequels are trash
@@messicampeon1016 thanks, no one asked
Yes, the cinematography of these movies is stunning…But I think the reason we as fans get emotional as we watch this 16 minute video, is the stories behind the scenes. The struggles through the pain. The overcoming of oppression. The willingness to sacrifice. Those are the reasons these beautiful scenes truly have meaning.
What a great video🥹
it reminded me of how Star Wars at the end, it's so beautiful, the real message of all movies and trilogies is love in the end it was just love.
Don’t just throw Victory Celebration at me like that in the end 🥲🥲
Anakin and Obi-wan holding onto each other, lightsabers in the air whilst lava flies over them is hands down the best shot in Star Wars
I landed on this clip while searching exactly for that shot. Amazing
Ong
This hit me in the feels without remembering that most of these shots hit me in the feels when I first watched them. I suppose the music has got something to do with it.
I like how he included the prequels and the sequels
All Star Wars fans big or small should be allowed to appreciate what they appreciate
I appreciate the inclusion of the shows especially mando season 1. Needs more mando season 1 shots honestly it’s all so inviting and cozy.
hmmm I smell a fake fan
@@Bruh.Master stay mad the sequels got great cinematography
@@vadernation1233 when did I deny that? but if you only watch movies cuz of their "great cinematography" then you're a fake fan
@@Bruh.Master that’s not how that works 💀. If you enjoy something about Star Wars that makes you a fan. There’s no such thing as fake fans.
14:34 the music and the imagery from this moment on….
I swear, it hit hard.
I just felt like letting out a big old ‘’YEAH’’.
I feel like this part encapsulates exactly what Star Wars makes me feel, and I thank you for it ^~^
That was epic.
Remember…the Force will be with you…always.
These movies have some of the best cinematography in cinema
Its crazy how these shots themselves give the story so much emotion and personality, they provide context without hearing a single line of dialogue
Thank you for 50,000 Subscribers!!!
You are the best amazing shots you deserve more subscribers 😉😉😉
made me cry
2:55 Anakin's Betrayal playing and then at then most emotional musical moment we cut to Vader's helmet being put on for the first time, this made me gasp. IT'S SO GOOD! There was so many moments where I was truly filled with happiness, nostalgia and even a slight sense of melancholy sadness, (with admittedly a few tears) while watching this. Thank you so much for making a great video that can bring us all closer together.
This deserves millions of views. Star Wars music compliments it’s cinematic excellence beautifully. Absolutely stunning.
When i say i loved star wars, it’s not only because I loved the Original and the Prequels, But Because i LIKE All The Movies and Most of the Show (even the newer ones)
I fucking love star wars
6:46 that sequence… god that sequence
Got engraved in my heart the moment it showed up.
Such a powerful combination of effects, music, cinematography, and the story implications.
Absolutely gorgeous.
Star Wars will always mean so much to me, it’s amazing every time I revisit it. Such a beautiful masterpiece,
This franchise will be with us...always.
11:16 has got to be the best and possibly most iconic one of them all
I remember having a cassette tape for empire strikes back when I was a kid. And I replayed the hell out of it, still my fav Star Wars movie. Star Wars is phenomenal, the music, cinematography, storytelling ( well some of them), the world building.
To whoever edited this masterpiece, and whoever did the mashup and rescoring of the soundtracks, I hope you’re getting full studio jobs in the near future because y’all KILLED this
If there's one thing that all Star Wars movies have in common it is that they are god damn beautiful.
Ok, now I need to rewatch these movies again. I forgot how outstanding the cinematography is
One of my favorite videos ever. Really shows the beauty of SW.
6:34 that shot has cemented itself as my favorite frame in All of Star wars. Steve yedlin you are incredible.
Luke and Vader meeting in Cloud City and drawing sabers for the first time is peak cinema.
Man... I love Star Wars so much. Now is the best time to be a Star Wars fan.
This is how I playback star wars in my head - the music and visuals all coming together. Thank you for putting this edit together, beautiful work!
Happy 45th Anniversary to Star Wars!
Maybe I missed it but I didn't see THE shot - the Star Destroyer endlessly flying overhead at the top of the first film. One of the most iconic shots in cinema history. And in general I would have liked to see the OT better represented. I know it can't match the sumptuous, richly-colored visuals of modern movies, but there's more that deserved a place here. The trench run, Hoth, the asteroid field, combat above Death Star II... etc.
And the famous shot of Luke looking on the twin suns.
@@ethansmith8463 1:08 It's not even that far into the video.
You’re goddamn right. That’s THE shot. The 4 shots that encompass Star Wars to me are the opening shot in 1977 Star Wars, Luke looking at the binary sunset, Vader vs Luke on Bespin only lit by the carbon freezing chamber’s lights, and the lightsaber clash in front of the Emperor’s face in Return of the Jedi.
Looking at these incredible shots and locations, I can’t help but dream of a videogame with incredible visuals where you can go anywhere in the vast galaxy of Star Wars in different eras and either relive the incredible stories or create your own with other fans of this incredible saga.
You should play Lego Star Wars The Skywalker Saga
I did, and it’s great
@@morgoth_edits Hell Yeah
@@thenewdoc4599 it's great. But I wish they recreate it like battlefront but a linear game that include the who franchise.
This is literally star wars eclipse
From an artistic point of view, every star wars film has unbelievably well composed and beautiful shots
Frames just like paintings…
Together with this music, its the best one can have
One of the greatest poems of all time
My favorite has to be Anakin on his speeder with the suns in the background. Sickest shot of all time
About 3 months ago, I finally decided to watch the clone wars series and since then I have watch all 9 episodes, animated shows, all video game walkthrough, numerous comics, audiobooks etc. From Rakatan empire to legacy era, I am exploring it all. Really digging the high republic comics.
Can't wait for Rouge Squadron, Andor, Bad batch season 2, Ahsoka, Mandalorian season 3, high republic phase 2 quest of the jedi, EA's fallen order sequel and of course KENOBIIII!!!!!
I highly recommend playing the fallen order on your own, it's truly a different experience
Welcome to the fandom bro.
@@adamjanek3511 i only got to watch other play it. I'm so bad at controllers tho.
Damn, you consumed a massive chunk of the Star Wars media in just 3 months. I wish I had that much free time.
damn you street-shitters are finally starting to find some good tastes in media? good for you but pls stay away from star wars, you street pissers have already ruined marvel and alot of other anime fandoms, don't pollute star wars for us now
Disney has amazing cinematography
What a beautiful and epic saga.
Absolute chills watching this between the music and visuals. Probably the best star wars tribute I've seen
It’s so soothing to hear duel of the fates finally given what feels like a fully completed version. It’s as if the masterpiece was finally given every bit of glory it deserved.
Best franchise of all time 🔥🔥🔥
The best shot in the entire series will always be the luke and vader part in the chamber. so iconic.
I never realized how beautiful Star Wars really is.
Greig Fraser is quickly becoming one of the best cinematographers of our times. Every movie the dude shoots is so damn beautiful.
I may sound like a baby but this made me tear up seeing Star Wars the very thing I’ve grew up with and how it has shaped me as a person. Thank you for making this I really appreciate your time and effort in this
Thank you for watching!
When any shot from The book of boba fett appeared I got goosebumps and even a few tears dripped.....beautiful video and an even more beautiful saga.
This was breathtaking
The cinematography in the sequels is stunning
One of the 2 good things about those movies, that and the music in the first 2
Mostly in 8, which is sad because it was the worst one
8 is 100% the best one it's not even a contest

The coolest shot I’ve ever seen in any movie ever is at 1:20. So epic.
Which is that from
Videos like this really remind me how much I love Star Wars.
I don’t know why… but everytime the original theme starts my eyes fills with tears
rogue one has some of the best cinematography in the entire franchise
2015-2017 what a time to be alive! I remember being a kid during that area of Star Wars magic. Once a year come December it was Star Wars season and my dad and I got so hyped. We’d wait in line for hour after having bought our tickets in October. We were all dressed up in costumes and it was the perfect amount of content. Just a year of waiting and then a solid movie. It sadly changed when they released solo in may during infinity war and then cancelled that plan entirely. But even tho that time is over and I’m an adult now I’ll always look back on the great time where no one would yell at me for enjoying something and everyone would get excited. It’s was a great time to be a kid who loved Star Wars
I find this video to be the best in the Internet
Despite it’s many faults, I still strongly believe that The Last Jedi has probably the best cinematography in the entire saga
can't argue with that
Agreed. I think the same can be said for all of Disney Star Wars. Absolutely beautiful to look at despite there many, many flaws.
@@davidr5658 some have more flaws than others
ikr sequels are like ufotable's animes
they are all shit in terms of story but shines when it comes to visuals
That or Rogue One. TLJ is more visually striking, but I think Rogue has the better actual cinematography.
As always great work. Star Wars is amazing
I'm watching this on star wars day
9:06 I love the mirror between father and son
You edited this beautifully, it was yours and now it's also mine. Thank you for sharing this. I got all the feels.
Thank you for watching!
This isn't fair you made me cry 😭
The amount of these that could be wallpapers
I teared up near the end, they just started flowing. Star Wars is great, but the music makes it!
Dude the music just seems to sink up with everything in this video. Incredible job. Will be rewatching the saga this week.
This is a masterpiece. There is truly nothing like Star Wars
The World of “Star Wars” from Lucasfilm is a god bless you to the whole world, I remember seeing “Star Wars: Episode Seven - The Force Awakens” on the big screen in movie theaters back in the old year 2015 and it was where I first saw the world of “Star Wars” for the first time and 7 years later, never forgotten about The Beloved World of “Star Wars”
I think something that we can all agree on, is that Star Wars is the master of establishing shots.
That was Fr beautiful
It amazes me how much of an amazing culmination of a tribute like this was to gather all three generations of Star Wars and remind some of the older fellows of their childhoods. Not only that, but from this comment section, I can say that there are indeed good people of this fandom that acknowledge what makes all three trilogies, including the Sequels, good amongst all three of their flaws.
TL;DR Thank you for posting this. This was a good Star Wars video for the community. One day, the rest of the fandom generations may grow to respect one another and their tastes. :)
No matter your opinion. You have to admit that every single one of the star wars movies have each had their share of stunning shots
This is the best star wars video i've ever seen
A channel that's just devoted to the amazing shots of film without having to elaborate on their opinion or anything is just absolutely sublime. Totally subscribed.
Even with the current state of plot in Star Wars I will always love it as a creative outlet it is. Star Wars is still around because of its looks.
All Amazing shots! Great presentation of the Star Wars universe. Thank you.

Despite the flaws some we of the movies or shows have , I’ll always come back to this franchise and enjoy it.

Now this, this is Star Wars. Thank you for this video!
No matter which star wars, the visuals and soundtracks are always straight fire
Holy shit that was breathtaking. First time I've seen every bit of live action star wars in one place. And no matter what I think of individual films or shows this reminds me how much I love the franchise.
Dude please make a yearly update of this video! Imagine this with shots of Kenobi and Andor...
The single best piece of fiction.
Absolute Cinema !!
As a person who absolutely HATED episodes 7-9, I do have to admit that the cinematography and landscape is absolutely stunning. Wallpaper worthy. But I still think that the Mandolorian has the best gritty visuals, the original trilogy has the best space visuals, and the prequels have the best landscape visuals.
and now we have Andor
EVEN though we all don't enjoy the writing and characters of the sequels not as much as we love the originals, or the prequels, we do have to accept the cinematography, CGI and the calming surrounding that fits Star Wars, was absoluty amazing. The sequels are definitly a part of Star Wars.
Best film’s saga ever.
Beautiful
Would love to see Amazing Shots of Clone Wars and Rebels
Same thoughts. And The Bad Batch has some seriously spectacular shots.

@@Bruh.Master Perhaps you haven't seen it. But everyone agrees it has the best art direction of the saga by far. And consequently, many of the most beautiful shots in the entire saga.
@@rafaelc.c. I've seen the first 2 seasons of rebels and I totally disagree
@@Bruh.Master Well, I highly recommend you to see the last two seasons, which are the best in most people's eyes. It's astonishing for me how the story comes full circle and what before could be a 7/10, then easily becomes at least a 9/10. It gives you a better perspective to the whole picture. Check them out, they're only around 35 more episodes.
