Need for Speed Hot Pursuit 2 Playstation 2 - PCSX2 Emulation

Need for Speed Hot Pursuit 2 Playstation 2 - PCSX2 Emulation - so i guess the burning question is, is this the best Need For Speed game? Well, probably not, but to me, it's probably close. This was nothing like the other console versions of the same game as it was developed by a different game studio, EA Black Box Studios, who went on to develop the NFS Underground games and the first Most Wanted (among others - apparently they also did some sport games as well, but if it doesn't involve cars or zombies, I usually don't pay much attention lol).
Still insanely fun, and it holds up quite well. I have the game disk, I have a PlayStation 2, and yes, it doesn't look as good in it's original form, but that's why we have PCSX2 to emulate older PS2 titles and give them a new shine. I am quite happy with that.
I will address the elephant in the room, though - in the beginning, i admit that i drive like an elephant - and i remembered (too late) that I don't enjoy the "extreme" handling setting, so one particular race is a bit of a dumpster fire, even though i manage to finish with some dignity intact.
Still, It was fun, and I'm still playing.

Awesome game. I remember getting this for Christmas when it first came out, everyone was blown away by the graphics. With some of these recent NFS releases being miserable to play, these classics really start to look timeless.

I agree, I may put it in my top 5, but i'm pretty sure it's my favourite from a "fun" standpoint.
