Guys, chill the song can be interpreted in many different ways. I for one believe the "devil" is presented here as a temptation to drugs and alcohol. Because when Demi sings that it tells her it's fine to pour more, that's basically a temptation telling her it's ok to do bad things that may possibly lead to her demise. (:

For the people saying it's about the drug dealer, it's not. It's metaphorical for her drugs and alcohol abuse past. Obviously, none of the things she did (choosing alcohol and drugs) is good but these bad things (devil) are always attractive to us.
