Yes this is definitely garbage at mining. If you wanna spend multiple hours to fill up the cargo with rocks just once, you might as well use a t10. At least then you'd get a better credits per hour ratio
@@Byssbod at least the t10 has enough hard points to put 4+ medium mining laser and the distro to power them, you can fill a cutter with plat in 1h30 or less without a RES, but for medium ship the python1 will still be better at laser mining :(

cant help but feel bad fir the type 7. Niw there is a ship with 100 more cargo capacity and all around strictly better stats in every way which is also medium sized. wvwn if this one clocks in at 80 million it seems unfair
Size 1 hp's either side of the bridge. 1 on top and a medium hp on the centreline. Tight config for Rail guns. 1 small hp on either inner section bow pylon. Wondering about the utility slots tho.
As pretty as the exterior is (somewhat) the bare bones Lakon ASP garbage truck console..... . It's the interiors that need a facelift, especially LAKON.
@wiser3754 I have 0 hardpoint and 3A power distributor on my Type 7 and it works good deeper than its skin. There are always some usecase for any specs.
Cargo Max is actually 406T and not 460 sadly.
As for mining, the Size 4 Distro and single Medium Hardpoint is pretty bad for laser mining :(

that slot 7 will be my 7A shields, 1 6A fuel scoop, 2-6 cargo 1-5 SRv 1-5 not sure 1-4 Collector limpets , 1-2 scanner 1-1 planet landing
