Stay strong young people! There are many of us "whites" that appreciate you and want you do to succeed and flourish! Many Blessings to each of you and your families.
...those teenagers are true natural born leaders..wise beyond their years..smart..soulful great young people in a very nasty hate filled racist environment...but those young Native Americans are so cool..and tough..very motivated...today has been my first experience of..this project documenting contemporary Native America...this made me so happy for those teenagers,in regards their warrior spirit while surrounded by active bigotry..wow.thanks for posting and may God Bless those young people and their fine parents and elders...REAL HUMAN BEINGS...aho! from Australia.
Osdv, well done, young ones, for speaking out. How this little one in the middle reminds me of my cousin Miguel, even in his speech patterns! Hear our young, our future, and become aware...
These are some beautiful articulate youth. As an African born in America It is my wish that the first nations people regain sovereignty over all of their land. Eurocentric minds can't understand it but their ancestors living in these youth can make that happen. The unnatural conditions that Europeans brought to this land will not survive.
Konoronhkwa, I hope things can get better for these young kids. None of us deserve this kind of treatment and it's definitely disheartening to learn about it happening to the younger generations
I am now old, But I would love to learn as much as I can! I grew up with Algonquin grandparents" I learned to fish and hunt and live outdoors! And appreciate, what is often overlooked by so many! Thank you for your understanding an undying passion!
they are very brave for speaking up freely, and voting for an america with less racism, and more peace and freedom, for all americans. through friendship, experience, wisdom and knowledge. I love them. its important they wont fall for the deep and dark pit called hatred, and start treating others the same way for every discrimination they experienced.
I wish that the young generation of today were half as wise as these youngins! So proud of their culture and wanting to preserve it! Stay strong lil ones! Miigwech!

1:48 I wish to point out that Mormons historically were the most fair and kind to all native peoples. Unlike the government, they never stole land and always tried to become good friends. A good example is Ezekiel Johnson. He loved the native people and learned the Ute language. Sometimes immigrants going to California would pretend to be Mormon so they wouldn't have trouble with the Indians.
@@victoriaperez2752 it's too bad you think that way. Perhaps you heard something but that's a really ignorant and stupid comment... not to mention FALSE!
my dad is a member of the lds church I know what i here in his bibles studies and as a native I am offended just because something isn't true for you doesnt make it false
