Welcome to my channel, today is a very special day, 'cause Ferrari just reveled the new 2024 F1 car (named SF-24) that will be driven in the 2024 F1 championship by Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz.
Ferrari kept the F1 launch season rolling on Tuesday by showing off their eagerly anticipated new challenger in an online presentation.
Following swiftly in the footsteps of Aston Martin, the famous Italian marque virtually unveiled their SF-24 - which continues Ferrari’s recent naming tradition - via a special video and series of images.
It unsurprisingly sports another deep red livery and is a car Ferrari hope will mark a return to title contention as they hunt for their first constructors’ championship since 2008 and first drivers’ crown since 2007.
Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz will remain as team mates for a fourth successive season in 2024, though the build up to the new campaign has been dominated by the news that Lewis Hamilton will be joining Ferrari next year.
Indeed, Hamilton has decided to end his long-standing partnership with Mercedes in favour of a move to Maranello, and it is Sainz who will be forced to make way for the seven-time world champion, with Leclerc having recently signed a new deal.
For now, the focus will be on the 24-race season ahead and taking another step forward with the SF-24 package after Ferrari claimed the only non-Red Bull victory of 2023 in Frederic Vasseur’s first term as team boss.
Speaking at the launch, Vasseur said: “Presenting a new car to the world for the first time is always a very exciting moment for me and the drivers, even if we are all already thinking about the moment we will go head to head with our rivals on track.
“This year, we must start off where we left off at the end of last season, when we were consistent front runners, with a view to constantly improving in all areas.
“The longest ever Formula 1 season awaits us and Charles, Carlos and I all agree, we must be more clinical and effective in how we manage the races, making bold choices, in order to get the best possible result at every Grand Prix.
“It’s often said that your fans can give you an extra gear and that will definitely be true in what will be a very closely contested championship and we are proud to know we can count on our ‘tifosi’ from around the world.”
Ferrari have confirmed that the SF-24 will make an initial track outing “for filming, photographic, marketing and communications purposes” ahead of pre-season testing at the Bahrain International Circuit from February 21-23.

I know this videos is a bit shaky, but as you can see each year there is a whole lot of people attending the Ferrari F1 unveiling event, and it's difficult to properly film the drivers and there is very little space to move around.

@@Scratch31337 first car out was Sainz #55 , but 2nd car out had #16 Leclerc driving and he slowed and waved to the Tifosi !
The tone of the engine slightly changed. More high pitched

it could be coz they dont need to restrict fuel flow or manage fuel so they can rev higher and stronger
its the same engine, nothing changed about the sound. Go get your ears checked

I'm not even a Ferrari fan but i have a good feeling about this one, looks very planted and twitchy, maybe they finally found something after all.
Yeah, that rear end is very stable on the fast corners. I just hope the suspension can handle the bumps because Maranello test track is very smooth. Either way I´m happy to see it unveiled, it looks good!

@@RedCyanPhotos my bad yes. Well I have not driven on it so I can´t say but I imagine it´s no where near as bumpy as Cota and Monaco? Fingers crossed either way

@@MrSilverfish12 This is Fiorano and it's very bumpy. This years car is so much better out of the garage and sticking the corners really well.
Cars sounds Awesome and seems extremely fast.
The car sounds different but in a good way, like a more raw noise
Breaking news, f1 seems to be extremely fast
These laps are just to make sure everything is working. Brakes, electric, motor, etc. There is no way to tell how the car will perform until the first race practice. But the car is like 90% different from front to back.
Of course, one thing you can see tho is that it's not unsettled and porposing over the small fiorano straight bumps like last year when the small bumps made it porpoise
Sound is closer to 80s turbo era. That’s good.
The F1 Turbo Hybrids and the 80's Turbo F1's do have the same tone if you pay attention. Their displacement is identical, the reason they're different is because of the Hybrid motors tampering with the sound.
Well at least it looks good. hopefully it won't have a struggle appetite for tires this season.

People don’t understand how loud the V6 is in person. Even compared to the V10, the V6 can really hold its own
But not in the same league as a V12.
V6 in person is loud but the first time I heard a naturally aspirated V10 I was literally stunned

it looks like it's fast in corners... if it's fast in corners it's usually also fast in straightening (saving speed when turning for maximum acceleration and topspeed on a straight track) and closer brakes for bolder overtake maneuvers... long race speed and tire durability and strategy are the keys .. SF-24 hopefully will be world champion this season

A lot of changes unseen with the front and back end the car should be easier on the tyres this year at least in race pace.

@@d7l905 white smoke it suppose to be thermally efficient thus practically no smoke other f1 cars didnt have that. Im just curious why?
@@eL_gAbaS I mean they would not load as much fuel in the car, and thus revving the engine more and putting a strain on it idk really, but I don't think there is a problem with the engine. It could also just be the weather and such

It's not a new engine my friends. Regs are frozen till 2025 remember, how Ferrari has been improving it's reliability issues alot. By the sound of the 2024 car it seems they have opened up the cap 100% use of its engine in comparison to 2023/2022 when this engine had some serious reliability concerns. So no new engine but definitely new to actually hear the real engine running 100% roaring on track.
Looks good but it doesn't seem confident on the road so far. I know it may be to early to tell, but in 2019 when they drove the car for the first time you instantly knew that years car was gonna be extremely quick. So far, i just dont see it.
It's only a shakedown of the car, impossible to tell of it's true potential at this stage.
Judging by the information available about the car, I believe it will be very competitive, but let's wait and see what the others came up with.

Why is Ferrari being followed so much what about other cars
Leclerc reminding the Tifosi hes still #1 driver, for now. Thats till Hamilton arrives and Fred Vasser and John Elkann have their power struggle over F1 team's true leadership and they IMPLODE as usual !!
I hope to be wrong but again i have the feeling that has been realised a too conservative F1 car. I can't believe that at Maranello there isn't the right technology to design a more extreme F1 car, sure there is. But it seems that the engineers uses it in a great way when they have to introduce GT and hypercars (Le Mans and stradale), but never when they must develop a car for formula 1 championship .

They had the 2nd best car on the grid last year. Stupid driver errors and pit mistakes cost them from finishing second. Last years Ferrari was fast but the thing that did them in was tire degradation. They have fixed this problem this year it seems from the tests in the simulator. I can tell you that most big changes are under the skin. The floor is completely redone.
@@Mrv1960 Ferrari last year was good on tracks like Monza, Las Vegas because of the excellent speed of the power unit and on a track like Singapore because not too demanding , but on tracks like Silverstone, Suzuka or Barcelona the car was a disaster. But yes you are right, it can be that main evolutions are under the skin and i very hope that the SF24 ll be incredibly fast. I just said that sometimes there is the feeling that at Maranello engineers build GT cars and Hypercars that look like spaceships, but have too many problems to realise a winning F1 car. Yesterday at a first look the SF24 didn't seem a too brave and extreme car but we ll discover it step by step at the beginning of the season when the development ll start improve the car .
