How wonderful. The views across the Douro are great and as always, the Cathedral gives you that sense of peace and tranquility. Reminds us of the great Roman churches. The gallery looked very cool, it’s wonderful when you can get so much pleasure from a location Martin 👍👍 And also a very cool station! Ha the trams look they’re from San Francisco, or vice versa! The church / chapel / catacombs was an amazing place - incredible architecture and artwork! Really enjoyed this one guys, I’m beginning to feel that we should go back to Portugal again! Always feels so friendly and welcoming. Have a great weekend guys.
I have really enjoyed several of your videos. A really great balance of nice tips, good photography and a bit of background without too much detail. Just perfect. Thank you!
Thanks very much , that’s great to know. The balance between too little and too much detail is something we think a lot about so we really appreciate the feed back. Thanks for watching best wishes Helen and Martin
That’s great thanks. You have inspired me usu to take a 3 week trip to Spain and Portugal in October. Keep up the great work, we have followed in your footsteps for a couple of years now, great videos very inspiring. Jim and Barbara
The Cathedral and Church are amazing. I use to love going in both, when we were on our travels. Just love the Architecture of both. Thankyou for sharing, enjoy the rest of your tour. 🙂
Great video guys. Porto looks fab. The Cathedral and Church both look amazing places to visit. As usual, great choice of music. Keep safe. Irvine & Karen.
Loved watching your trip around Porto. We were there same time last year so it brought back some wonderful memories. Like you we only had a few days there and intent to go back again to visit the places we missed. Thank you
Beautiful city, loved the Cathedral and Church, we always visit them when we go to any city, thankyou. We enjoyed both vlogs😊Will you be visiting Sintra x
Hi guys, just found your channel and lost my evening to you informative content. We are off to France this summer and I was wondering how you have delt with the toll roads in your 3.5T+ Motorhome? I've watched you use various boxes in Slovenia, Austria etc, but how do you do this in France. I've only found the sub 3.5T tags and our Rapido similar to your Knaus is 4.4T...? Cheers - Adrian
Good morning and thanks for watching the channel., it's much appreciated. French Tolls are something of an enigma . The rules say that vehicles over 3.5 t or over 3m tall are classed in a higher group than motorhomes less than 3.5t etc (Class 3) . BUT the tolls themselves are run on height senses not weight so , you can be over 3.5t and under 3m and the electric system will charge you at Class 2. Go Figure. I have also known of many people with vehicles over 3.5t and 3m tall who press the button explain they are a camping car and been subsequently charged at Class 2 rate. The inference being that the French didn't intend to catch motorhomes in Class 3 and have not resolved it. I would suggest that you roll to the toll booth, especially if like us the vehicle is under 3m tall, and pay with contactless whatever the demand is. For us it's usually class 2 , based on height not weight , but this way no one can suggest we haven't acted appropriately as we have paid the demand made of us by the system. Hope that helps , best wishes Helen and Martin
@@helenandmartinsTreks Hi, many thanks for taking the time to reply. I think you are right, best to avoid where that's an option, but rock up to the tolls when necessary and pay up. Hopefully, as a sub 3m A-Class they will allow us to pass as Class 2. Off to get my Angles Mort and my Crit' Air. Once again, thanks for your help and keep up the great work....Adrian

Thanks for watching the video , there isn't a zone in the classical sense but there some areas in the city which are restricted , but i'm sure you wouldn't want to drive into the city centre itself. A quick question, is there a low emission zone in Porto ? Do you need to register in advance? Great video!
